We sincerely thank Mr. Parekh and Scientific Design & Build Pte Ltd for their generous donation of a table to house our GeneXpert machine. While simple in appearance, this table plays a crucial role in providing the stable foundation needed for accurate operation of the machine that will be used for HPV self‑swabbing tests.🎗️

This thoughtful contribution ensures that women across Fiji can access reliable cervical cancer screening in a safe and effective way. 💜

As part of the EPICC Multi-Country Palliative Care Integration Workshop, our team made a heartfelt home visit to some of our cancer patients. 🎗

This simple act reflects the workshop’s mission: bringing together leaders from across the Indo-Pacific to ensure that palliative care is not overlooked, but embraced as a vital part of cancer care.

Together with partners from the University of Sydney, Ministries of Health, and civil society, we’re working to make compassionate care accessible for all. 🌺

EPICC Palliative Care Workshop opened with rich discussions rooted in traditional practices and the adaptation of palliative care into our local health systems. Participants broke into focused groups to explore both the clinical and policy dimensions of palliative care in depth. With delegates from Fiji and across the Pacific region stretching as far as Timor-Leste. 🌎

These first two days serve as more than just an introduction; they are the foundation of lasting friendships and partnerships united by a shared vision of bringing Na Loloma Karoni - the newly named Fijian expression for Palliative Care into the comfort of our people's homes.

Four more exciting days await, filled with fruitful discussions, meaningful engagement, and collective learning as we prepare to advocate and champion Na Loloma Karoni within each of our individual health systems.🎗️
