Fiji Country Coordinating Mechanism Fiji CCM is a mandate of the Global Fund which aims at fostering local ownership and participatory decision-making. The current Chair, Mrs.

The country-level multi-stakeholder partnerships develop and submit grant proposals to the Global Fund based on priority needs at the national level. Following grant approval, they oversee progress during implementation. Fiji CCM include representatives from both the public and private sectors, including governments, multilateral or bilateral agencies, non-governmental organizations, academic inst

itutions, private businesses, key affected persons and people living with the diseases. Elizabeth Fong is a representative of the Academic constituency. Ministry of Health and Medical Services (of Fiji) is the Principal Recipient of the Global Fund grant tiled "Health System Strengthening and Control of Tuberculosis in Fiji Islands".
