EMPOWERMENT IN ACTION!

Last week, Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th December 2025, Project Talitha had the privilege of hosting an incredible empowerment training for vulnerable and marginalized young women in Nabiti village, Dreketi, Macuata!

Our project targeted primary participants, 12 amazing young women participated in the training, and we were thrilled to see 15 enthusiastic individuals turn up to take part! It was a testament to their resilience and determination to improve their lives.

Our facilitators led the group through three powerful modules:

1. The Wounded Healer Training: Helping participants heal and find strength in their vulnerabilities. This module encouraged the young women to confront and overcome their past traumas, and emerge stronger and more resilient.
2. Tree of Life: Empowering women to connect with their roots and tap into their inner resilience. This module helped the participants identify their strengths, values, and support systems, and gave them a sense of pride and belonging.
3. Who Dares Dreams Training: Inspiring participants to dream big and turn their aspirations into reality. This module equipped the young women with the skills and confidence to set goals, make plans, and take action towards achieving their dreams.

The purpose of these empowerment trainings is to equip these young women with the skills, confidence, and support needed to overcome challenges and thrive in their communities. We're committed to empowering them to become leaders and agents of change!

We're grateful to our community and its leadership, partners and other stakeholders, facilitators, participants, community members and supporters who made this possible! Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the lives of these young women and their community.

Let's continue to uplift and empower our young women!
