MASJID NOOR NAKASI'S NEWLY MADE GHUSL KHANA IS OPEN 24/7

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to inform the community that the Ghusl Khana at Masjid Noor, Nakasi is now officially OPEN and fully operational 24/7 for the preparation (Ghusl) of Janazah.

This facility has been prepared to ensure that our deceased are handled with dignity, care, and in accordance with the Sunnah and Islamic guidelines.
In times of loss, we understand how overwhelming the moment can be. The Masjid is committed to supporting families through this difficult time by providing access and assistance whenever required — day or night.

THE FACILITY IS COMPLETELY FREE FOR USE FOR OUR MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

As we prepare for Eid, let us remember that Sadaqatul Fitr is not just a payment — it is purification for our fast and relief for the less fortunate.

The four commodities mentioned in Hadith are:

🌾 Flour (½ Sa’a – 2kg) – $3.60 FJD
A small amount for us, but it can mean a full meal for a family.

🌾 Barley (1 Sa’a – 4kg) – $31.60 FJD
A Sunnah staple — sustaining and rewarding.

🌴 Dates (1 Sa’a – 4kg) – $44.00 FJD
The beloved nourishment of the Prophet ﷺ — sweet in taste and heavy in reward.

🍇 Raisins (1 Sa’a – 4kg) – $54.60 FJD (Recommended)
A more generous option — for those Allah has blessed with more.

These values reflect approximate current market prices in Fiji, and each person may choose any of the four. However, those blessed with greater means are encouraged to give more — as an expression of gratitude to Allah (SWT).

Let your Fitraana be given before Eid Salah.
