Lifebread Stay Connected Foundation - Fiji

Lifebread Stay Connected Foundation - Fiji Centre for Women Empowerment Our organisation encourages collaboration with communities and stakeholders to build sustainable and resilient livelihoods.

We seek to engage in viable partnerships focused on rebuilding the lives of widows and marginalised women, enabling them to make a positive contribution towards national development. Through relevant in-house training programs, we endeavour to provide hope and opportunities that will enable and empower women from rural communities and informal settlements, to improve their confidence and build the

ir self-esteem. Our core empowerment program is THE CONFIDENT WOMAN, which runs for 6 weeks (4 days each week) and covers 7 modules. We also run short courses, like Basic Business Management, Sewing, Screen Printing, Employment Seeking Skills and Basic Computing. Our training programs are designed to enhance self-care, personal development and confidence in the lives of the marginalised and vulnerable women who desire to make a change and BE THE CHANGE!

🌸 From Learning to Living the Change 🌸

Sometimes, the biggest transformations begin with the smallest changes. πŸ’œ

During her graduation speech, CW Cycle 4 graduate Gayatri Patel reflected on her journey through the training and the many lessons she has taken with her beyond the classroom.

From developing leadership skills and understanding the importance of family values, to learning more about parenting and making positive changes in her everyday life, Gayatri shared how the training has encouraged her to look at things differently and put what she has learned into practice. 🌱✨

Her story is a beautiful reminder that change does not always have to be big or happen all at once. Sometimes, it is the small changes we make each day that create the biggest impact. πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ’

🌸✨ From being afraid to socialise to finding the courage to connect, speak and encourage others. This is Meenal Mishadari Devi’s story. πŸ’œ

A young entrepreneur, wife and mother, Meenal joined the Confident Women training carrying a challenge that many people quietly experience. She was afraid to socialise and found it difficult to step outside her comfort zone. 🌱

But through the training, something began to change. With every session, conversation and new experience, Meenal found herself becoming more comfortable, more confident and more willing to connect with others. πŸ’ͺ🏽✨

Her journey is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, all someone needs is an opportunity, a safe space and someone willing to listen. 🀍

Today, Meenal encourages us to lend a listening ear because we never truly know what someone may be going through. She also encourages other women to take advantage of opportunities like the Confident Women training, to learn, connect, grow and discover the confidence within themselves. 🌷

Her story reminds us that growth does not always happen overnight. Sometimes, it begins with simply showing up, taking that first step and allowing yourself to be heard. πŸ’œ

Thank you, Meenal, for sharing your story and inspiring other women to step forward. Your journey matters, and your voice can encourage someone else to take their first step too. 🌟

🌸✨ Meet Siteri Cabemaiwasa, an inspiring entrepreneur and one of our Confident Women Cycle 4 graduates! πŸ’œ

For Siteri, the Confident Women journey was more than just gaining confidence. It was also about gaining knowledge that she could take directly into her personal life and business. πŸ’ΌπŸŒ±

One of the areas that truly made an impact on her was financial literacy. Understanding how to budget, manage money, set financial goals, save for the future and make more informed financial decisions gave her a new perspective on how she can strengthen both herself and her business. πŸ’°πŸ“Š

Sometimes, empowerment begins with understanding the numbers behind our dreams. When women have the knowledge and confidence to manage their finances, they are better equipped to make decisions, plan ahead and build towards a more secure future. 🌟

Siteri’s story is a beautiful reminder that learning can open our eyes to new possibilities and give us the tools to turn our goals into action.

Thank you, Siteri, for sharing your experience and allowing us to be part of your journey. Keep building, keep learning and keep growing! πŸ’œβœ¨

🌸✨ Meet Neelam Rekha, a woman who truly believes that learning never stops! ✨🌸

Neelam brings with her a wealth of experience as an administrator, healthcare worker, social worker, volunteer and counsellor. For many years, she has been actively involved in supporting and working alongside her community, touching lives through her service, compassion and dedication. πŸ’œπŸ€πŸ½

She came into the Confident Women programme already confident, experienced and passionate about making a difference. But she leaves with even greater confidence, renewed knowledge and a stronger sense of empowerment. πŸ’ͺ🏽🌟

For Neelam, growth is a lifelong journey. Her willingness to continue learning, upskill herself and embrace new knowledge is a beautiful reminder that no matter how much experience we have, there is always something new to discover. πŸ“šπŸŒ±

Her journey shows us that confidence does not mean we stop growing. It means we continue to challenge ourselves, learn, evolve and become better versions of who we are.

Thank you, Neelam, for sharing your experience and for reminding us that empowered women never stop learning. Keep growing, keep serving and keep inspiring! πŸ’œβœ¨

πŸŽ“βœ¨ Celebrating Confidence, Growth and New Beginnings! βœ¨πŸŽ“

A beautiful milestone was celebrated as we proudly graduated our incredible Confident Women Cycle 4 participants! πŸ’œπŸŒΈ

From the first day of training to graduation, we witnessed women step forward, discover their strengths, build their confidence and embrace new possibilities. What started as a learning journey became a journey of transformation, self-discovery and empowerment. 🌱πŸ’ͺ🏽

A very special thank you to our Chief Guest, Special Administrator of Tavua Town, Mr. Rajendra Raghlu, for honouring us with his presence and sharing words of encouragement with our graduates. Your support made this celebration even more meaningful. πŸ™πŸ½βœ¨

To our amazing CW Cycle 4 ladies, congratulations! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸ½ Thank you for investing your time, energy and heart into this journey. Your commitment, courage and willingness to learn have brought you to this special moment.

As you move forward, may you carry with you the confidence to speak up, the courage to dream bigger, the knowledge to make informed choices and the strength to create positive change in your lives, families and communities. πŸ’œπŸŒŸ

Your transformation is a reminder that when women believe in themselves, incredible things can happen. πŸŒΈπŸ‘‘

Day 8 of Confident Women Cycle 4 πŸ’œβœ¨

What happens when we stop simply earning and start planning with purpose? πŸŒ±πŸ’°

Day 8 took our women into the world of financial literacy, where we explored the importance of understanding our money, creating realistic budgets, setting meaningful goals, and turning those goals into achievable targets. πŸ“ŠπŸŽ―

We talked about saving, not only for the future we dream about, but also for the unexpected moments when life does not go according to plan. Because having even a small financial cushion can bring a sense of security, confidence, and peace of mind. πŸŒΈπŸ’΅

The conversations reminded us that financial empowerment does not always begin with having more. Sometimes, it begins with making better choices with what we already have. Every dollar planned, every goal written down, and every small amount saved can be a step towards a stronger and more secure future. πŸ’ͺ🏽🌷

One goal at a time. One saving habit at a time. One confident decision at a time. ✨

Day 7 of Confident Women Cycle 4 πŸŒΈπŸ’œ

Parenting is a journey without a perfect handbook. It is filled with learning, patience, challenges, little victories, and countless moments that shape both parent and child. πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ‘§πŸ½πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ‘¦πŸ½βœ¨

On Day 7, our women explored parenting skills alongside the importance of understanding and protecting children’s rights. πŸŒ±πŸ§’πŸ½πŸ‘§πŸ½

The conversations reminded us that children have the right to be safe, heard, respected, loved, and protected from harm. Creating a safe and nurturing environment starts with how we communicate, guide, discipline, and respond to their needs. 🫢🏽🏑

Parenting is not about being perfect. It is about being present, learning, listening, setting healthy boundaries, and knowing when a child needs protection and support. πŸ’•πŸ›‘οΈ

Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe and valued, and every parent has the opportunity to learn and grow along the way. 🌷

Another day of meaningful conversations and shared learning as we continue building confident women, stronger families, and safer communities. πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ’œ

Day 6 of Confident Women Cycle 4 πŸŒΈπŸ’œ

Sometimes, the most meaningful lessons begin with the things closest to our hearts: family, our thoughts, and the way we choose to move forward. 🌱

On Day 6, our women explored the importance of family values and how the values we carry can shape the way we build relationships, make decisions, and support those around us. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦βœ¨

The conversation then turned inward as we explored the power of positive thinking, gratitude, and forgiveness. πŸ’πŸŒ· We reflected on how changing the way we look at life can help us appreciate what we have, release what weighs us down, and create space for growth.

Forgiveness does not erase what happened. Sometimes, it simply gives us permission to stop carrying the weight of it. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Another day of reflection, honest conversations, and learning that becoming a confident woman is also about nurturing the heart, strengthening the mind, and choosing growth every day. πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ’œ

Day 5 of Confident Women Cycle 4 🌸✨

Leadership is not always about being the loudest voice in the room. Sometimes, it is about listening, understanding, standing with others, and having the courage to make a difference. πŸ’œ

On Day 5, our women stepped into conversations around strengthening women’s leadership, exploring different leadership styles and discovering how each style can shape the way we communicate, make decisions, and work with others. πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ’ΌπŸŒ±

The journey also took us into the world of conflict management, reminding us that conflict does not always have to divide us. With the right communication, patience, and understanding, difficult moments can become opportunities to learn, grow, and find better ways forward. πŸ€πŸ½πŸ’¬

As the day unfolded, one message stood out: leadership starts from within. It grows through confidence, self-awareness, empathy, and the willingness to lift others as we rise. 🌷πŸ’ͺ🏽

Here’s to women finding their voice, embracing their leadership, and becoming the change they want to see in their communities. πŸ’œβœ¨
