Lifebread Stay Connected Foundation - Fiji Centre for Women Empowerment Our organisation encourages collaboration with communities and stakeholders to build sustainable and resilient livelihoods.

We seek to engage in viable partnerships focused on rebuilding the lives of widows and marginalised women, enabling them to make a positive contribution towards national development. Through relevant in-house training programs, we endeavour to provide hope and opportunities that will enable and empower women from rural communities and informal settlements, to improve their confidence and build the

ir self-esteem. Our core empowerment program is THE CONFIDENT WOMAN, which runs for 6 weeks (4 days each week) and covers 7 modules. We also run short courses, like Basic Business Management, Sewing, Screen Printing, Employment Seeking Skills and Basic Computing. Our training programs are designed to enhance self-care, personal development and confidence in the lives of the marginalised and vulnerable women who desire to make a change and BE THE CHANGE!

Every day in Vatusekiyasawa, community members are coming together to learn, share experiences, and strengthen their knowledge through the ongoing Disaster Risk Management Training facilitated by CANDO FIJI 🌏📚

From understanding disaster preparedness to discussing ways to keep families and communities safe during emergencies 🌧️🏡, participants are actively engaging and building skills that will make a lasting difference for the future 💪🏽✨

🌿 Reflecting, Learning & Growing Together!
We just wrapped up an incredible 3-day WFF Reflections Workshop at the Novotel in Lami, and our hearts (and notebooks!) are full. 📝✨

From May 19–21, Grantee Partners from all divisions in Fiji gathered to take a deep look at the heart of our work. We asked the tough questions:
✅ What is truly working for the vulnerable in our communities?
✅ Where are the gaps we still need to bridge?
✅ How can we do even better?

🍌 From Lab to Farm: A Special Field Visit
A major highlight was our trip to the Taiwan Technical Mission Demo Farm in Nausori! We went behind the scenes to see the amazing journey of banana seedlings—from delicate tissue culture in the lab to the nursery, and finally, being transplanted into the soil. It was a perfect reminder that with the right care and technical "know-how," our community projects can grow just as strong!
