Tom of Finland Foundation’s Producer in Finland, Susanna Luoto, will lecture about the early years of Tom’s life in his native town Kaarina Kaarinan kaupunki - S:t Karins - City of Kaarina, in the vicinity of Turku, Finland.

The lecture is part of the program of Turku Pride 2025

The musical recounts how Touko Laaksonen evolved into Tom of Finland.

tells the tale of the talented, peculiar son of two teachers living in Kaarina who became the most famous Finnish artist in the world. A man who drew his fantasies so real and relatable that millions of men found themselves and their sexuality: Tom’s drawings gave them a reason to open their eyes in the morning.
