EA Finland's Intro Program is running again. 5 days left, apply by 14th of September!
Facilitated by peers from the Finnish Effective Altruism community, and supported by local groups, the Effective Altruism Intro Program is a deep dive into how to do more good with your life. You will learn how to evaluate and compare solutions to pressing problems such as global poverty, animal suffering, and securing a good long-term future.
The course explores the science behind evaluating how to do good effectively. It looks at how and why we might widen our moral concern beyond ourselves, to include people in other countries, animals, and even future generations. You will also learn methods for assessing existential risks such as biorisks, nuclear war, and artificial intelligence. The course finishes with practicing value-driven career planning.
The course consists of 5 weeks of readings and small group discussions.

📍 You can participate either in-person in Helsinki, Espoo, Oulu, Tampere, or Turku, or online from anywhere.
