Located in a renovated printing factory adjacent to the Fasil Gebbi, Gondar’s renowned historical palace, Gondar Art Tank provides a space and new opportunities for the rising generation of Ethiopians to pursue their aesthetic and intellectual interests. Gaining international exposure however remains a challenge. Our residency program, dedicated to education through cultural exchange, will provide Ethiopian and foreign participants with workshops and seminars and will result in an annual exhibition and journal organized by a guest curator.
