In partnership with , ACISDA organized film show program on GBV at Abala city administration, Berahele Woreda/District, and Abala Woreda/District. This (GBV) film show has produced and carefully planned in terms of cultural sensitivity, and the use of local language to ensure messages are understood and actionable. The conducted film show program significantly contributed to raise the awarness of traget groups on thier social norms. Additionally, it's a powerful community-based strategy designed to trigger dialogue, shift attitudes, and break the silence surrounding violence against women and girls.
The contents of this film is focused on emphasising that GBV is a violation of human rights, not a private family matter. Focus on bystander intervention, positive masculinity, and available support services. The project is supported by .
