Celebrating International Women’s Day – March 8

Eurika and IDS proudly celebrated March 8, International Women’s Day, at the Mekelle IDP site together with our valued partners from governmental institutions and local and international NGOs with the support of Expertise France.

The event focused on raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and promoting the protection and empowerment of women and girls. During the celebration, brochures were distributed to community members to increase awareness about GBV prevention, available support services, and the importance of standing together against violence.

Through collaboration, discussion, and community engagement, the event created a strong message of solidarity and hope for women and girls living in the IDP site.

Together, we continue working towards a future where every woman and girl lives free from violence.

ስለዚህም፡
✅ በሰላም ግንባታ፣ የፆታ እኩልነት እና ሰብአዊ መብት ዘርፍ የሚሰሩ
