🎓❤️ A Special Celebration at OPRIFS
We were delighted to welcome INSA to our shelter to celebrate their children’s graduation together with our shelter children. It was a beautiful opportunity to share joy, friendship, and memorable moments together.
As part of the celebration, INSA generously gifted their children’s clothes to our shelter children. 👕🎁 Beyond the gifts, the children also learned an important lesson about giving, sharing, and caring for others.

Yesterday, the OPRIFS family celebrated Buhe with the children and staff at our shelter. We enjoyed the beautiful traditions of Chibo, Mulmul, and Hoya Hoye, making the day full of joy, singing, blessings, and togetherness.
As part of the celebration, we also recognized six former students who achieved excellent results in their grades. They were honored with school bags and shoes in recognition of their hard work and success. 🎒👟👏
It was a wonderful day of celebrating our culture, encouraging our children, and celebrating their achievements. ❤️

"Building Capacity to Protect Children and Women"

OPRIFS successfully conducted a capacity-building training on child and women case handling processes for police child and women protection officers and criminal case investigators from various police stations.
The training aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge and skills in handling cases involving children and women using a survivor-centered, rights-based approach. It emphasized respecting the rights and dignity of survivors, improving the quality of investigations, and enhancing access to justice for children and women affected by violence.
By equipping frontline law enforcement officers with practical knowledge and victim-sensitive approaches, OPRIFS continues to contribute to a more responsive and protective justice system for women and children.

OPRIFS conducted training for community members, Community Committees (CC), Community Child Rights Committees (CRC), employers, and Child Domestic Workers (CDWs) on effective monitoring of child domestic workers' working conditions. The training strengthened participants' understanding of child rights, safe working environments, early identification of protection concerns, and the shared responsibility of ensuring every child is treated with dignity, care, and respect.
By working together, communities can create safer environments where child domestic workers are protected, their rights are upheld, and their well-being remains a priority.

Building sustainability beyond the project lifecycle.
OPRIFS successfully facilitated a Project Sustainability and Exit Strategy Workshop for Community Committees (CC), Community Child Rights Committees (CRC), employers, Child Domestic Workers (CDWs), Education Office representatives, Women, Children and Social Affairs (W/C/S/A) Office representatives, and school directors.
The workshop focused on strengthening local ownership, reinforcing coordination among stakeholders, and developing practical strategies to sustain project achievements after project completion. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing efforts to protect child domestic workers, promote children's rights, and ensure lasting community-based support systems.
Together, we are laying the foundation for sustainable impact and a future where every child grows up in a safe, protective, and supportive environment.
