የቀድሞ ኤስ .ኦ . ኤስ ወጣቶች ማህበር ኢትዮጲያ / SOS Almuni Youth Association Ethiopia ከ SOS Children's Villages in Ethiopia መንደር ለወጡ ወጣት ሴቶች ያዘጋጀውን "Hate Speech & Online Safety Training" ባሳለፍነው ሳምንት መጨረሻ ነሐሴ 10/2018 ዓ.ም በተሳካ ሁኔታ ሰጥቷል።

ይህ ለወጣቶቻችን የተሰጠው የአንድ ቀን ስልጠና ሴት ወጣቶች በዲጂታሉ ዓለም ውስጥ በራስ መተማመን እና ደህንነታቸው በተጠበቀ ሁኔታ እንዲንቀሳቀሱ ለማስቻል ትልቅ አስተዋፅኦ አለው። በተለይም፦👇

📤 የበይነመረብ ደህንነትን መጠበቅ፦ የመረጃ ደህንነታቸውን የሚያረጋግጡበትን እና ከኦንላይን ጥቃቶች፣ ትንኮሳዎችና ማጭበርበሮች ራሳቸውን የሚጠብቁበትን መንገድ አስጨብጧል።

📤 የጥል ንግግርን (Hate Speech) መከላከል፦ አវិታዊ እና ጥላቻ አዘል ይዘቶችን በመለየት፣ በበጎ ምላሽ እና በኃላፊነት ስሜት የማህበራዊ ሚዲያ አጠቃቀምን እንዲያዳብሩ ረድቷል።

📤 ዲጂታል አቅምን መገንባት፦ ወጣቶቹ ማህበራዊ ሚዲያን ለልማት፣ ለግል እድገት እና መልካም ተፅዕኖ ለመፍጠር በብቃት እንዲጠቀሙበት የሚያስችል ግንዛቤ ፈጥሯል።

👉ይህን ወቅታዊ እና እጅግ አስፈላጊ የሆነ ስልጠና በከፍተኛ ሙያዊ ብቃት እና ትጋት ለወጣቶቻችን ላካፈሉልን ለአቶ Abeselom Samson በድርጅታችን እና በተሳታፊ ወጣቶች ስም የላቀ ምስጋናችንን እናቀርባለን።

Empowering Young Women for the Digital Age! 🌟

The SOS Alumni Youth Association successfully hosted a impactful "Hate Speech & Online Safety Training" for young women transitioning from SOS Children’s Villages.

This one-day intensive workshop was designed to equip our young women with the confidence, knowledge, and tools needed to navigate the digital world safely and effectively.

የቀጠናዊ ትስስር እና ልምድ ልውውጥ፡- አዲስ የእድገት ምዕራፍ❗️

🔰ባሳለፍነው ሳምንት በ National Care Leaver's Associations Coalition Ethiopia (NCLAC) አስተባባሪነት የ Somaliland Care Leavers Organisation (SOCLO) ከፍተኛ አመራሮች እና ተወካዮች በአዲስ አበባ ለ 4 ቀናት የአቅም ግንባታ እና የልምድ ልውውጥ ጉብኝት አድርገዋል። በቆይታቸውም የኬር ሊቨርስ ማህበራትን፣ የመንግስት መስሪያ ቤቶችን፣ የቤተሰብ መምሪያ ማህበርን እና የ Care Leavers ማህበራትን ገቢ ማስገኛ (IGAs) እንቅስቃሴዎች ጎብኝተዋል።

🔰ከነዚህ ተቋማት መካከል ማህበራችን የቀድሞ ኤስ .ኦ . ኤስ ወጣቶች ማህበር ኢትዮጲያ / SOS Almuni Youth Association Ethiopia አንዱ የነበረ ሲሆን፣ እንግዶቻችንን በዋና ቢሮአችን ሞቅ ባለ ሁኔታ ተቀብለን ጥሩ የልምድ ልውውጥ እና ውይይት ጊዜዎች አሳልፈናል ። በቢሮችን በነበራቸው ቆይታ የማህበራችንን ምስረታ ምን እንደሚመስል፣ የነበሩ ተሞክሮዎችን፣ የተከናወኑ አበይት ተግባራትን እና የአሁናዊ ስትራቴጂካዊ ትኩረት አቅጣጫዎችን ገለፃ አድርገናል። በመቀጠልም የማህበራችን ገቢ ማስገኛ ቢዝነስ ወደሆነው Vision Coffee House በማቅናት፣ ተቋሙ እንዴት እንደሚሰራ ገለፃ በማድረግ ከምርጥ ቡና ግብዣ ጋር ቀጣይነት ባላቸው ትስስሮች እና በኢኮኖሚያዊ አቅም ግንባታ ዙሪያ ፍሬያማ ውይይት አድርገናል።

🔰ይህ አይነቱ ቀጠናዊ ትስስር፣ በኬር ሊቨርስ ወጣቶች መካከል ያለውን የወንድማማችነት እና የእህትማማችነት ግንኙነት ከማጠናከሩ ባለፈ፣ ድበር ተሻጋሪ እውቀትና ተሞክሮዎችን ለመለዋወጥ፣ ዘላቂ የገቢ ማስገኛ ስትራቴጂዎችን ለመቅረጽ እና በምስራቅ አፍሪካ ደረጃ የወጣቶችን ድምፅ እና ስትራቴጂካዊ ውክልና ለማጎልበት አዲስ ትልልቅ በር የሚከፍት በመሆኑ ሊቀጥል እና ሊበረታታ ይገባል እንላለን ።

: 👉A Milestone inCross-Border Care Leaver Empowerment!

🔰Last week, under the coordination of the National Care Leavers Association Coalition (NCLAC), executive leaders and representatives from the Somaliland Care Leavers Organization (SOCLO) completed a productive 4-day capacity-building and experience-sharing visit in Addis Ababa. Their itinerary included visits to care leavers' associations, government offices, the Family Guidance Association, and various Income-Generating Activities (IGAs) run by care leavers.

🔰As one of the host institutions, SOS Alumni Youth Association Ethiopia was honored to welcome the delegation to our head office. During our session, we shared the story of our association's establishment, key achievements, lessons learned, and current strategic directions.
Following our main office meeting, we visited our flagship IGA, Vision Coffee House. Over a cup of specialty coffee, we demonstrated the operational model of the business and held engaging discussions centered on economic empowerment and building sustainable, long-term partnerships.

✅️Regional engagements like this go beyond strengthening bonds among care leavers—they create vital opportunities for cross-border knowledge sharing, sustainable revenue strategy development, and amplification of youth voices across East Africa. We look forward to building on this momentum and encouraging further collaboration in the region.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦የህፃናት ደህንነት እና ጥበቃ (Safeguarding) ስልጠና በተሳካ ሁኔታ ተሰጠ❗️

የቀድሞ ኤስ .ኦ . ኤስ ወጣቶች ማህበር ኢትዮጲያ / SOS Almuni Youth Association Ethiopia ዛሬ አርብ ነሐሴ 1/2018 ዓ.ም ለ20 ተንከባካቢ (Care Leavers) እናቶች ያዘጋጀውን የ1 ቀን የህፃናት ደህንነት እና ጥበቃ (Safeguarding) ስልጠና በተሳካ ሁኔታ አጠናቋል።

ይህ ስልጠና እናቶች ስለ ህፃናት መብት፣ ደህንነት አጠባበቅ እና ጥበቃ ያላቸውን ግንዛቤ የሚያጎለብት ሲሆን፤ ህፃናት በአካል፣ በስነ-ልቦና እና በማህበራዊ ህይወታቸው ሙሉ ደህንነታቸው ተጠብቆ እንዲያድጉ ለማስቻል ትልቅ ፋይዳ አለው። እናቶች በዕለት ተዕለት ህይወታቸው ተገቢውን ጥበቃ እና እንክብካቤ እንዲያደርጉ የሚያስችል ተግባራዊ እውቀትና ክህሎት እንዲጨብጡ አድርጓል።

Successful Completion of Child Safeguarding Training❗️

Today, Friday, August 7, 2026, the SOS Alumni Youth Association Ethiopia successfully conducted a one-day Child Safeguarding training for 20 care leaver mothers.

This capacity-building training plays a vital role in enhancing mothers' awareness of child rights, safety, and protection. It equips them with essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure children grow up in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment—protecting their physical, psychological, and social well-being.

"Every child has the right to grow up in a safe, respected, and protected environment!"
