Last week, Korea International Volunteer Organization (KVO International), in collaboration with the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) and the Bishoftu City Administration Youth and Sport Office, conducted the “We Volunteer” Digital Volunteer Mobile App Training and Volunteer Registration Event in Bishoftu. The two-day event aimed to introduce participants to the digital volunteer platform, provide practical training on its use, and facilitate the registration of new volunteers.
The first day focused on an awareness session for the Bishoftu City Administration Youth and Sport Office. The event began with welcoming remarks from Mr. Amana Kado and Mr. Abera Regassa, representatives of ACSO, followed by a presentation from OYES Foundation regarding its project collaboration with KVO International to mobilize volunteers through the “We Volunteer” platform. As part of the training, Mr. Fanta Tadesse, representing ACSO, delivered a presentation on volunteerism, highlighting the importance of active volunteer participation and its contribution to community development.
Mr. Yared Setie, KVO International Software Developer, led the presentation and demonstration of the “We Volunteer” mobile application. Following the demonstration, participants were supported in completing their volunteer registration through the app. The event also included an interactive Q&A session, providing participants with an opportunity to ask questions, clarify the platform’s features, and gain a better understanding of how they can engage with volunteer opportunities through the digital system. The first day’s program concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Mikias Girma, KVO International Country Director, who expressed appreciation to the participants and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in promoting volunteerism and strengthening opportunities for community participation.
The following day, the program continued with local youth volunteer leaders in Bishoftu. The session began with welcoming remarks from Mr. Abera Regassa of ACSO. Mr. Tilahun Kussa, also representing ACSO, delivered a presentation focused on volunteerism and its importance in supporting sustainable community development. The program continued with a further presentation and demonstration of the “We Volunteer” mobile application by Mr. Yared Setie. Participants were once again guided through the registration process, with support provided to facilitate their enrollment on the platform. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, allowing participants to further discuss the application and volunteer engagement opportunities.
ባሳለፍነው ሳምንት የኮሪያ ኢንተርናሽናል ቮለንቲየር ኦርጋናይዜሽን (KVO International) ከሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ባለስልጣን (ACSO) እና ከቢሾፍቱ ከተማ አስተዳደር ወጣቶችና ስፖርት ጽ/ቤት ጋር በመተባበር በቢሾፍቱ ከተማ ለሁለት ቀናት የቆየ የ“ቅን ልብ We Volunteer” ዲጂታል የበጎ ፈቃደኝነት ሞባይል መተግበሪያ ስልጠና እና የበጎ ፈቃደኞች ምዝገባ መርሃ ግብር አከናወነ። መርሃ ግብሩ ተሳታፊዎችን ከዲጂታል የበጎ ፈቃድ አገልግሎት ጋር ለማስተዋወቅ፣ ስለ አጠቃቀሙ ተግባራዊ ስልጠና ለመስጠት እና አዳዲስ በጎ ፈቃደኞችን ለማስመዝገብ ያለመ ነው።
የመጀመሪያው ቀን መርሃ ግብር ለቢሾፍቱ ከተማ አስተዳደር ወጣቶችና ስፖርት ጽ/ቤት የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ መድረክ ላይ ያተኮረ ነበር። በዚህ መርሃ ግብር ላይ የሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ባለስልጣን (ACSO) ተወካይ የሆኑት አቶ አማና ካዶ እና አቶ አበራ ረጋሳ የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል። በመቀጠልም OYES Foundation ከKVO International ጋር በ“ቅን ልብ We Volunteer” እንዲሁም በበጎ ፈቃደኞች ዙርያ ስለሚያደርገው የፕሮጀክት ትብብር በቂ ገለጻ አቅርቧል። የስልጠናው አካል በመሆን ሌላኛው የሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ባለስልጣን (ACSO) ተወካይ አቶ ፋንታ ታደሰ ስለበጎ ፈቃደኝነት በቂ ገለፃ ያቀረቡ ሲሆን፣ የበጎ ፈቃደኞች ንቁ ተሳትፎ ለማህበረሰብ እድገትና ልማት ያለውን የጎላ አስተዋጽኦ አብራርተዋል።
የKVO International የሶፍትዌር አበልጻጊ የሆኑት አቶ ያሬድ ሰጤ በ“ቅን ልብ We Volunteer” ሞባይል መተግበሪያ አጠቃቀምን በተግባር አስደግፈው ያስረዱ ሲሆን፣ ተሳታፊዎችም መተግበሪያውን እንዴት መጠቀም እንደሚችሉ ተግባራዊ መመሪያ አግኝተዋል። ከማብራሪያው በኋላ ተሳታፊዎች በዚሁ መተግበሪያ በኩል ምዝገባቸውን እንዲያጠናቅቁ ድጋፍ ተደርጎላቸዋል። በተጨማሪም ከተሳታፊዎች ለተነሱት ጥያቄዎች በቂ ምላሽና ገለጻ የተደረገበት የጥያቄና መልስ መርሃ ግብር ተካሂዷል። የመጀመሪያው ቀን መርሃ ግብር በKVO International ካንትሪ ዳይሬክተር አቶ ሚኪያስ ግርማ የማጠቃለያ ንግግር ተጠናቋል። አቶ ሚኪያስ ለተሳታፊዎች ምስጋናቸውን አቅርበው፣ የበጎ ፈቃደኝነትን ባህል ለማሳደግ እና የማህበረሰብ ተሳትፎን ለማጠናከር የጋራ ትብብር አስፈላጊ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።
በሁለተኛው ቀን በቢሾፍቱ ከተማ ለሚገኙ የአካባቢው ወጣት በጎ ፈቃደኛ መሪዎች ላይ ያተኮረ መርሃ ግብር ሆኖ ቀጥሏል። ከተለያዩ የሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች የተወከሉ አካላትን እና ተሳታፊዎችን ያሳተፈው ይህ መርሃ ግብር በአቶ አበራ ረጋሳ የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልዕክት የተጀመረ ሲሆን፣ የACSO ተወካይ የሆኑት አቶ ጥላሁን ኩሳ የበጎ ፈቃድ አገልግሎት ለዘላቂ የማህበረሰብ ልማት ስላለው ወሳኝ ሚና ገለጻ አቅርበዋል። በመቀጠልም አቶ ያሬድ ሰጤ የ“ቅን ልብ We Volunteer” ሞባይል መተግበሪያን በተመለከተ ተጨማሪ ተግባራዊ ማብራሪያ የሰጡ ሲሆን፣ ተሳታፊዎችም በመተግበሪያው ላይ በቀላሉ መመዝገብ እንዲችሉ ድጋፍ ተደርጎላቸዋል። መርሃ ግብሩም ተሳታፊዎች ስለምዝገባውና ስላሉት የበጎ ፈቃድ እድሎች ዙርያ ውይይትና የጥያቄና መልስ መርሃ ግብር ተካሂዶ ተጠናቋል።
