During her visit, Ms Worknesh Mekonnen Gonet the Director of HAMCO met with Red Sea State Acting Health Minister, Dr. Ahlam Abdel-Rasoul, to outline future strategies for the Port Sudan Teaching Hospital. While the meeting began by acknowledging the immense sacrifices of medical teams who have served the country through three years of conflict, the primary focus quickly shifted to charting a path forward.
The core of the discussion centered on concrete plans for potential future work.
