Safe Haven for Youth Ethiopia (SHYE) is a non-profit (501c3) organization incorporated in the United States and operating in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. SHYE runs a children’s center which serves 115 impoverished children between the ages of five and eighteen. We provide services and programs designed to improve daily life and create a path to success for all of our beneficiaries. Our Vision

Programs
Safe Haven for Youth Ethiopia strives to provide our beneficiaries with the best quality education, food, and healthcare that donor dollars allow. Education is at the core of our mission, but we also understand that if a child is not receiving nutrition, medical care and access to activities outside of their studies then their ability to attend class, concentrate, and study will be diminished. We think the holistic approach of our programs give each child the best chance of success and our programming is continually being monitored and evaluated by the Staff and Board.
