1st January โ€” a day meant to echo with freedom,
yet today it carries the quiet weight of waitingโ€ฆ
and a hope that refuses to die.

Sudan, we see you ๐Ÿค

We see mothers who have lost walls but not warmth,
finding strength beneath open skies,
humming lullabies where homes once stood.

We see fathers whose hands may be empty of tools,
yet heavy with prayers for their childrenโ€™s safety ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿฝ

We see children whose eyes have known hardship too early,
and stillโ€”stillโ€”they search the horizon for tomorrow ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ’”

It hurts to witness this pain.
But it hurts far more to turn away.
And we will not.
