Saron Mosissa is the Country Director of Tabitha Reach Ethiopia, where she leads programs focused on organizational effectiveness, systems-level impact, and human development.

With a background in child therapy and extensive experience supporting youth and vulnerable communities, she brings an empathetic, evidence-based approach to leadership. Saron has also participated in leadership and empowerment programs including UN Women’s Leadership Initiative, the What’s Next Women Empowerment and Mentorship Program, and YALI-affiliated platforms.

She holds a BA in Public Health and Management and an MA in Project Management.

Haset Club came together for a morning of mindfulness, learning, collaboration, and sisterhood.

The day began with grounding yoga led by Migbar, followed by a session on Mindfulness and its role in our personal and leadership journeys.

We also welcomed Aster Solomon for a conversation on Continuous Learning, exploring curiosity, adaptability, and lifelong growth.
The day closed with the Haset Circle, centered on “The Courage to Be Seen”—a space to connect, share, listen, and strengthen sisterhood.

Yodit Tamene is the Program Manager at TIMRAN, where she leads initiatives advancing women's political participation, leadership, and peacebuilding.

With over 14 years of experience, she is a gender justice advocate and project management professional specializing in gender equality, women's economic empowerment, humanitarian response, and inclusive governance.

Yodit is also the Vice President and founding member of the Ethiopian Project Management Professionals Association and holds an MA in Project Management from Addis Ababa University

Temnet Beruk is a Counseling Psychologist and licensed psychiatry professional with expertise in mental health leadership, counseling, and service development.

She is the Co-Founder of Medanit Counselling and Lead of Therapists at MindWhispers Ethiopia, where she works to expand access to quality mental health services.

Passionate about mental health advocacy, Temnet focuses on ethical, people-centered care, reducing stigma, and strengthening mental health systems through evidence-based practice and community engagement.

Growth begins with self-awareness, and June's Haset Club was a reminder that leadership starts from within.

From reflecting on financial wellness and exploring emotional sovereignty to building confidence through public speaking, participants continued developing the skills needed to lead with purpose. The session also featured inspiring volunteer project updates, a thought-provoking leadership conversation with guest speaker Mehiret Nigussie, and a meaningful Haset Circle discussion on the lasting impact of childhood experiences.

Every conversation, every reflection, and every presentation brought participants one step closer to becoming more intentional, resilient, and impactful leaders.

Meron Alemayehu is a GBV Protection Officer at the Union of Ethiopian Women and Children Associations (UEWCA), leading survivor-centered GBV protection programs across several woredas in the Amhara Regional State.

A legal and humanitarian professional, African feminist, and gender justice advocate, she has over seven years of experience in law, program management, leadership, and women’s rights advocacy. Meron previously served as a public prosecutor specializing in gender-based crimes and as Executive Director of the Ethiopian Media Women Association (EMWA).

Meron holds a Master's degree in Gender Studies and an LLM in International Law from Ethiopian Civil Service University.

Yididya Abebe is a Program Lead at the Network of Ethiopian Women Association (NEWA), with 16 years of experience in gender equality, women’s rights, social accountability, and community empowerment.

She specializes in program design and management, capacity building, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. A seasoned trainer and facilitator, Yididya has led initiatives on women’s empowerment, leadership development, GBV prevention, and psychosocial support.

Yididya holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is passionate about creating sustainable social impact for women, youth, and communities.

The second module of the Haset Women Leadership Program brought together women leaders in the CSO space for three days of learning, reflection, and connection. The sessions focused on strengthening sisterhood, self-awareness, and key leadership skills.

Participants explored coaching and mentorship, resource utilization, digital literacy, emotional intelligence, negotiation, team building, and sales

Beyond the training, the module created a strong space for reflection, collaboration, and shared learning, deepening both leadership capacity and sisterhood among participants.

Hiwot Yimer is a finance and development professional serving as Finance Coordinator at Development Expertise Centre.

With extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, auditing, compliance, and donor reporting, she is committed to promoting accountability, transparency, and organizational sustainability.

A certified trainer in Gender Transformative Approaches and fundraising, Hiwot has also received training in corporate governance and ESG principles. Known for her strong leadership and collaborative approach, she works to drive effective, ethical, and sustainable development outcomes.

Hiwot holds an MSc in Development Economics from Ethiopian Civil Service University.
