ድርጅታችን የኢትዮጵያ ሴቶችና ህጻናት ማህበራት ህብረት (UEWCA) በተሁለደሬ ወረዳ የገጠር መልካም አስተዳደርን በማጠናከር በቂ ምግብ የማግኘት መብትን ለማስከበር በወረዳው በሚገኙ አምስት ቀበሌዎች፣ እነሱም 01፣ 04፣ 05፣ 08 እና 09 ቀበሌዎች፣ ከጥር 2017 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ በፕሮጀክት እየሰራ መሆኑ ይታወቃል።

የፕሮጀክቱን ዋና ዓላማ ለማሳካት ግልጽነት፣ ፍትሃዊነት፣ የህዝብ ተሳትፎና ተጠያቂነትን ማስፈን እንዲሁም የህግ የበላይነትን ማረጋገጥ ስላስፈለገ ፣ የ6ኛ ዙር የምርታማ ማኅበራዊ ደህንነት መረብ (PSNP) ፕሮግራም አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ የበለጠ ውጤታማና ቀልጣፋ እንዲሆን ለማገዝ በአጠቃላይ 53 የማህበራዊ ተጠያቂነትና የቅሬታ ሰሚ ኮሚቴ አባላት የአቅም ግንባታ ስልጠና ተሰጥቷል።

ስልጠናው በተለይም የ6ኛ ዙር የPSNP ፕሮግራም ዓላማ፣ የተጠቃሚዎች መረጣና ምልመላ መስፈርቶች፣ የቅሬታ አቀራረብና አፈታት ሂደቶች፣ እንዲሁም በፕሮግራሙና በሌሎች የመንግስት ባለድርሻ አካላት አስተዋጽኦ ምክንያት የመጡ ለውጦችን እንዴት መለየት፣ መግለጽና በማስረጃ ማረጋገጥ እንደሚቻል የሚያካትት ነበር።

በተጨማሪም፣ ስልጠናው ስለማህበራዊ ተጠያቂነት ጽንሰ ሃሳብ፣ አስፈላጊነትና ጥቅሞች፣ የማህበራዊ ተጠያቂነት መሳሪያዎችና አተገባበር ላይ በማተኮር ተካሂዷል። ይህም ለ6ኛ ዙር የPSNP ፕሮግራም ትግበራ የማህበራዊ ተጠያቂነትና የቅሬታ ሰሚ ኮሚቴዎችን እውቀትና ክህሎት ለማጠናከር፣ የህብረተሰቡን ተሳትፎ ለማሳደግ እና የፕሮግራሙን አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ የበለጠ ግልጽ፣ ተጠያቂና ፍትሃዊ ለማድረግ ያለመ ነበር።

ስልጠናው ከቀን 09–10/11/2018 ዓ.ም. ድረስ በመካሄድ ለተሳታፊዎች የአቅም ግንባታ ስልጠና ተሰጥቷል።

Colleagues and friends,

Rigbe Gebrehawaria, former Commissioner for Women, Children, Older Persons, and Disability Rights, is a candidate for the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. She is the AU‑endorsed Ethiopian candidate, nominated by the Government of Ethiopia. Ethiopia is a candidate for the first time and has never served on the Committee in any capacity before.

Member States of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (192 individual States plus the European Union) will vote during the Conference of States Parties, taking place from 9–11 June at UN Headquarters in New York.

Please support Rigbe and encourage Member States to vote in her favor.

"የሚኒስትሮች ምክር ቤት በዛሬው ዕለት ባካሄደው 55ኛ መደበኛ ስብሰባ ብሄራዊ የሴቶች ማብቃት እና የስርዓተ ጾታ እኩልነት ረቂቅ ፖሊሲ ላይ ተወያይቶ አፀደቀ፡፡ ፖሊሲው ለስርአተ ጾታ መዛባት ስር ነቀል የሆኑ ጉዳዮች ላይ በቂ ትኩረት ለመስጠት፣ ጾታን መሰረት ያደረገ ጥቃትን በአግባቡ ለመከላከል እና ጥበቃና ምላሽ ለመስጠት፣ ልዩ ትኩረት ለሚሹ ሴት አካል ጉዳተኞች እና ለተለያዩ ችግሮች ተጋላጭ ለሆኑ ሴቶች ምላሽ ለመስጠት እንዲያስችል ኢትዮጵያ ከተቀበለቻቸው ስርአተ-ጾታን መሰረት ካደረጉ አለም አቀፍና አህጉራዊ ስምምነቶች ጋር በማጣጣም ረቂቁ ተዘጋጅቶ ለምክር ቤቱ ቀርቧል፡፡ ምክር ቤቱም በረቂቅ ፖሊሲው ላይ በሰፊው ከተወያየበት በኋላ ግብአቶችን በማከል በምክር ቤቱ ከጸደቀበት ቀን ጀምሮ ተግባራዊ እንዲደረግ በሙሉ ድምጽ ወስኗል"
