My Name is Gadisa Birhanu,
A Story of Hope, Faith, and Purpose.
I was only four years old when I lost both of my parents. From that day, I became homeless and orphaned — a child alone in the world, facing rejection, poverty, loneliness, and hunger. There were nights I went to sleep without food, days I walked with empty stomachs, but never with an empty heart.
Even in the darkest moments, I held on to one thing — hope.
I believed that life could be different, that education could change my story. I pushed myself through school — from elementary to university — often surviving on one meal a day or sometimes one meal every two days.
But I never gave up.
The pain became my purpose.
The rejection became my reason to love more.
And the hunger became my hunger for change.
Today, I am the Founder and General Manager of Testimony Feeding Center, a charity organization born from my story — a place where we feed, love, shelter and empower homeless and orphaned children, helping them discover their God-given potential and purpose.
Because I know what it means to be forgotten.
And I know how powerful it is to be seen, loved, and believed in.
Today, I stand as a Global Goodwill Ambassador, motivational speaker, husband, father, business owner, and leader — but above all, I am a living testimony that nothing is impossible.
I am here to tell the world: no matter where you come from, no matter how broken your story is — you can rise, rebuild, and become everything you were created to be.
I am living proof.
And through Testimony, I’m committed to being a father to the fatherless, loving the unloved, and giving hope to those who feel forgotten
