Naath Women Initiative for Peace, Unity and Development Provides Support to Displaced Lactating Mothers in Nyatim, Nyirol County
08 March, 2028
Naath Women Initiative for Peace, Unity and Development (NWIPUD) has provided emergency humanitarian assistance to vulnerable lactating mothers currently sheltering in Nyatim, Nyirol County, South Sudan. A total of 80,000 Ethiopian Birr has been delivered to support these women and their infants during this difficult period.
The beneficiaries are survivors of the recent conflict in Ayod County who were forced to flee their homes. Many of them, along with their young children, sought refuge in the surrounding bush areas and have been living in extremely harsh conditions with no access to food, healthcare, and basic necessities.
Recognizing the urgent humanitarian needs of these mothers and their children, NWIPUD mobilized resources to offer immediate support aimed at improving their living conditions and helping them meet basic nutritional and health needs.
Naath Women Initiative for Peace, Unity and Development reaffirms its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, particularly women and children affected by conflict. The organization continues to advocate for peace, unity, and the protection of civilians across South Sudan.
