Empowering Women through the Bengo Project! 🌍✨

On February 20, 2026, the Children Center of Addis YMCA Branch successfully hosted a Community Meeting and Publicity Workshop for the Bengo Project, at the Dreamliner Hotel.

The Bengo Project is dedicated to transforming the lives of disadvantaged women—including single mothers and returnees—through Self-Help Group (SHG) model utilizing capacity building, seed support, and continuous monitoring.

This workshop served as a vital platform for 10 project participants to engage directly with local authorities and the private sector. We extend our gratitude to our key stakeholders for their participation and support:

Kirkos Sub City Woreda 3 Bureau of Women and Social Affairs
Awash Bank and,
Ethio FM

Through these multi-stakeholder engagements, we continue to bridge the gap between vulnerable communities and essential financial and social services, ensuring sustainable project progress and cooperation.
