‼️ 20 YEARS AGO THIS WEEKEND!
The first-ever Tenerife Entertainment Awards took place this weekend in 2006 at Pleasure Island (now Vivo/Treasure Island) in central Playa Las Americas, sponsored by Admiral Insurance, hosted by Nathan Swift.
It was the start of something massive with live entertainment from Kormack, and Kracker leading all the winners for a big Beatles finale!
There were only 8 categories and winners as follows:
⭐️ Best Male Singer: Alexander McRae
⭐️ Best Female Singer: Shelley
⭐️ Best Compere: Kev Brooks (Beverley Hills Heights)
⭐️ Best Variety Act: Hot Ice
⭐️ Best Comedy Act: Bitter & Twisted
⭐️ Best Group: The Wild Boyz
⭐️ Best Tribute Act: Paul Lee as Meatloaf
⭐️ Best Radio DJ: Mel Faulkner
