💬 BICS – Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills

📖 CALP – Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency

Summer is also a time for collaboration and improvement.
As the pilot phase continues, 36 local experts are carefully reviewing the Diversity Inc. tools, sharing recommendations that will help strengthen every learning resource.
Their feedback is being used to refine both the Diversity and Inclusion Awareness Tool (DIAT) and the Learning Pathways before they are integrated into the project's digital platform this autumn.
Because the best educational resources are created by listening to the people who will use them.
Stay tuned for the next steps of the Diversity Inc. journey.

Inclusive education starts with accessible resources.

CARE is currently translating its learning materials, methodological guidelines and digital platform into Spanish, Polish, Croatian, Dutch and Estonian, making them available to educators and learners across partner countries.
Removing language barriers means creating more opportunities for every student to learn, participate and belong.
Because education should be accessible to everyone.

Technology can make learning more accessible—but it is people who make learning meaningful.
CARE combines carefully selected digital tools, such as Canva, Diffit, Matific and Wizer.me, with an innovative Human-in-the-Loop approach.
Artificial intelligence helps simplify content, personalize activities and reduce cognitive load, while teachers provide what technology cannot replace: guidance, encouragement and human connection.
Because inclusion happens when innovation and empathy work together. Learn more about CARE:

Great ideas become valuable only when they are tested in real-life contexts.
The first versions of the Diversity and Inclusion Awareness Tool (DIAT) and the Learning Pathways are now being tested across the partner countries.
VET educators, SME representatives and associated partners are taking part in focus groups, providing practical feedback on the usability, relevance and effectiveness of the project tools.
Their experience will help ensure that Diversity Inc. delivers resources that are practical, accessible and truly useful for small businesses.

We love this reel created by our Italian partner, Les Cultures, capturing the highlights of our recent two-day Co-design Workshop in beautiful Bergerac, France,! During the event, the consortium worked collaboratively to define the framework for the project's eight Learning Pathways, designing practical, scenario-based modules that will help managers and staff in small businesses tackle unconscious bias and discrimination. We even had the opportunity to explore fantastic local examples of inclusive entrepreneurship, such as the community-run restaurant 'Le Poquelin'. It was an incredibly fruitful meeting, and we want to express our immense gratitude to our French partner, edEUcation, for their wonderful hospitality!

Inclusive workplaces are built through everyday actions—and learning is where change begins.
The Diversity Inc. partnership is currently developing 8 interactive Learning Pathways designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises recognise and address unconscious bias and workplace discrimination.
To ensure the training is practical and relevant, the content is being developed from two different perspectives: 👔 for managers, supporting inclusive leadership and decision-making; 🤝 for staff, encouraging awareness and respectful collaboration in everyday work.
By tailoring learning to each role, Diversity Inc. aims to help SMEs create workplaces where everyone can thrive.

✍️ Following our incredibly fruitful workshop in France, the writing has officially begun! Throughout May, our partners are acting as authors and "critical friends" to develop the content for our 8 self-learning modules. From tackling unconscious bias to exploring intersectional discrimination, we are designing practical, interactive strategies to support VET educators, managers, and staff. 📚🌍
