The Gift of Conscious Contact

It’s not dramatic.
It’s not mystical.
Sometimes it’s just this:
I’m not afraid right now.
I feel okay sitting here.
I’m not reaching for something to fix me.
That’s what conscious contact looks like for me today.
And that’s enough.

Guidance Doesn’t Always Speak Loudly

I used to think spiritual guidance meant hearing a booming voice or getting struck by some lightning-bolt insight.
But these days?
It’s usually quieter than that.
It’s the hesitation before I say something I’ll regret.
It’s the urge to call someone instead of isolate.
It’s a deep breath when I want to slam a door.
It doesn’t yell. It barely whispers.
But if I’m willing to listen — it’s always there.
