A beautiful day filled with art, warmth and love for animals!

Last Saturday, we enjoyed a very special mini-event organised by artists and wonderful animal lovers Oksana Kocuriene (Roxanne). and Lesley Lawrence.

Together with three other talented artists, Kelly Glithro, Anfisa Zinchenko and Margaritha Meus as they created a lovely art exhibition.

Also a special thank you to Gabriela Cervantes and Angelique Roelse-Vis who sold their hand-made jewelry and Macramé as they also donated some of their proceeds to add to the final result.

2 students from Ireland, Ksenija and Anna helped with book, golf ball charity sale during the whole day!

Later in the day, Marisa and Niko organised dance lessons, while the volunteers from ACE and DONKEY DREAMLAND held a little market. And of course, the lovely donkeys were there too!

It was such a wonderful, friendly atmosphere, surrounded by kind people and passionate animal lovers who all wanted to do something good for our animals.

And the result? €881.25 for ACE and €881.25 for DONKEY DREAMLAND! What an amazing achievement! In addition our volunteers managed to collect 189€ from donations, sales of cards and our calendars.

We are incredibly grateful to Roxanne snd Lesley, all the artists, Marisa and Niko, our volunteers and everyone who helped make this day possible or came along to support us.

It is moments like these that give us the strength to keep going. Because behind every little event is a big heart and the same shared mission: to help animals who need us so desperately.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to everyone! Together, we really can make a difference.

On Saturday, we had a wonderful afternoon at El Jinete Restaurant in Mijas Costa.

It was such a friendly gathering, filled with warmth, laughter and a beautiful atmosphere. It means so much to us to see so many people coming together for our four-legged friends.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to Mark and Martin, who organised this wonderful afternoon.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who was there. Your support means more to us than you can imagine. In our daily work, there are so many worries, so many animals in need and so many difficult moments… An afternoon like this truly warms our hearts.

Together, we raised an amazing €2,000, which will go towards operations for dogs who came in with medical problems. Dogs who, without our help, might not get the chance they deserve.

Our four-legged friends are so very precious to us.
We will continue to fight for them every single day, with all our hearts.
Together, we fight for their future. Together, we give them hope.

From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU to everyone who came, helped and supports our animals.

Yesterday we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea that was attended by around 70 people.

Marti (one of our volunteers) came up with the idea, which turned out to be great success👏 We raised 1,100 euros, which we intend to use to buy food for our very youngest children.

We’d like to thank everyone who took part, who bought along their home baked savouries and cakes (which were delicious) and our volunteer who made a great Ace Charity bunting showcasing our dogs and cats that we can use again 🙏

A special thank you again to Marti for organising the tea party featuring all sorts of delicious home-baked treats, all the proceeds going to ACE.

We also want to say a special thank you to the owners Craig, Pauline and their team at Raquets Bar and Grill in Torrenueva. They gave up their restaurant for the afternoon, preparing some special homemade treats for us to enjoy. We encourage people to visit this restaurant as their food is lovingly prepared by Pauline herself.

A brilliant idea!! Thank you!

Diary of Fabienne:

Today, another week ago... our annual Boost!

It's already been a week, but what have we enjoyed... The many proud owners with their happy dogs, the wonderful volunteers and the special camaraderie with which everyone has contributed... It has deeply moved us.

When you are confronted every day with animal suffering, grief and so much injustice, a weekend like this is a huge blessing. It gives us new strength and the confidence that there are still so many good people out there. People who open their hearts and want to give a dog a second chance.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this special weekend possible. Especially to Heidi and Rik and to all the volunteers who made such a wonderful party together.

We are recharged.
We will continue.

With ups and downs, with falls and rises, but always with full conviction and with infinite love for our animals. Because they are worth every effort. Despite all the opposition and difficulties that we are faced with daily, we never give up.

Every animal, wherever they are, deserves our help. And as long as we can, we will continue to fight for them!

ACE Animal Care based in La Cala de Mijas are having an Autumn Charity Lunch.
With over 500 dogs and 200 cats in our care.
Please support us so that we can carry on caring for our animals. The shelter costs around €40,000 a MONTH, to run. We receive no funding from either the local council or government, despite keeping so many animals off the streets. We have the fabulous Harvey James, to entertain you during the lunch.
