Sometimes, we spend so much time worrying about what might happen that we forget Who is already holding tomorrow.
Philippians 4:6 reminds us not to carry every burden in our hearts as if everything depends on us. Instead of allowing anxiety to control our thoughts, God invites us to bring everything to Him—every fear, every unanswered prayer, every uncertainty, every dream, and every situation we don't know how to handle.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” — Philippians 4:6
Prayer doesn't mean that our problems will immediately disappear. It means we no longer have to face them alone. We can tell God exactly what we're going through, surrender what we cannot control, and trust Him with what we cannot understand.
And notice that Paul says “with thanksgiving.” Even while waiting for the answer, we can still thank God for His faithfulness. We can thank Him for the prayers He has already answered, for the doors He has opened, for the lessons He has taught us, and even for the things He is doing behind the scenes that we cannot yet see.
So when worry comes, pray.
When you're afraid, pray.
When you don't know what to do, pray.
When the answer seems delayed, pray.
And when God answers, don't forget to give thanks.
You don't have to understand everything to trust God with everything.
Turn your worries into prayers, your fears into faith, and your waiting into worship. God already knows what you need,so bring it all to Him.
