CHUMS (friends of charity)
CHUMS (friends of charity) is a small fully registered charity.
We started this charity to help ease the burden a little on the food banks and try to help some of the less fortunate souls who desperately need the help of food banks. We help La Nucia, Alfaz del Pi, Benidorm and Finistrat and when we have collected enough money we ring one of the towns and take them shopping.Money comes from donations,and the three social events we do every month. Very often we are given things they no longer required or sometimes people are selling up to go back to England.We have quite a few outlets we can sell to. We have been working for CHUMS for almost four years now ad we have collected over 17000 euros and all the monies collected are used for food banks. All expenses are taken care of by Marilyn and Peter Rogers. We also have wonderful members who join in the raffles that we do.
