🪞👬 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝘆 & 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 👬🪞 (🇪🇸 abajo)

We recently mentioned pairs waiting on homes longer then normal and this is our other one! Lily and Charlotte have really had an unlucky time. Through no fault of their own they're in their FIFTH temporary home 🤦🏻‍♀️😭 Four foster homes, one meant-to-be-forever home which it turns out wasn't forever 💔 They've been loved by all of them. No-one has a bad word to say. And now they've passed their first birthday with us. We love having them, but their future family is missing out on milestones and that's a sadness.

These chicas are adaptable, bring joy wherever they go, and are such wonderful companions. They make magic, leave pawprints on hearts, and deserve a place that's just theirs 🏡 It's all we all want. What we do know is this: our cats land exactly where they're meant to. The journey can be tough, but the outcome is always worth it.

They're such a good team, these two. Charlotte is so affectionate. She started out spicy - it's often the way, the more emotional one is all up in their Big Feelings to start out with - she's an absolute sook. Loves people, wants people, hi there people! 😻 But she's got enough smarts to make you earn it for the first 10 minutes 😹

While Charlotte is super photogenic, her poor sister has a bad case of RBF 🥲 Poor Lily. She looks mean as hell in most pics, when all she wants is to play and let the fun times roll. She's the more playful sister.

Together, they're such a damn team 🥰

We've had a lot of interest in these girls since they've been with us, all they need is a little push. We want them in a for their second summer on this earth. Please share them! You couldn't have a better bonded pair, two cats who tick every single box.

Hace poco mencionamos a parejas que llevan más tiempo de lo normal esperando un hogar, ¡y este es otro de esos casos! Lily y Charlotte realmente han tenido muy mala suerte. Sin tener culpa alguna, ya van por su QUINTA casa de acogida 🤦🏻‍♀️😭 Cuatro casas de acogida y un hogar que parecía que iba a ser definitivo, pero que al final no lo fue 💔 Todas las personas que las han acogido las han querido mucho. Nadie tiene nada malo que decir de ellas. Y ahora ya han cumplido su primer cumple con nosotrxs. Nos encanta tenerlas, pero su futura familia se está perdiendo momentos importantes y eso da una pena.

Estas chicas se adaptan a todo, llevan alegría allá donde van y son unas compañeras maravillosas. Hacen magia, dejan huellas en los corazones y se merecen un lugar que sea solo suyo 🏡 Es lo único que todxs queremos. Lo que sí sabemos es esto: nuestros gatos acaban exactamente donde deben estar. El camino puede ser duro, pero el resultado siempre merece la pena.

Estas dos forman un equipo estupendo. Charlotte es muy cariñosa. Al principio era un poco temperamental - suele ser así, la más emocional suele mostrarse muy sensible al principio - es una bebecita total. Le encantan las personas, quiere la humanidad, ¡hola a todxs! 😻 Pero es lo suficientemente lista como para hacerte ganártela durante los primeros 10 minutos 😹

Mientras que Charlotte es súper fotogénica, su pobre hermana tiene un caso grave de cara de pocos amigos 🥲 Pobre Lily. Parece malvada como el demonio en la mayoría de las fotos, cuando lo único que quiere es jugar y pasárselo bien. Ella es la hermana más juguetona.

Juntas, forman un equipo increíble 🥰

Desde que están con nosotrxs, estas dos han despertado mucho interés; solo necesitan un pequeño empujón. Queremos que pasen su segundo verano en este mundo en un ¡Por favor, compártalas! No podrías encontrar una pareja más unida: dos gatitas que cumplen todos y cada una de los requisitos.

Without making too much noise, he’s one of those cats who quietly becomes your little 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸 and steals your heart in the blink of an eye. He seeks closeness without being intrusive — asking for cuddles, watching you, or rolling around on the floor to show you he trusts you. He simply enjoys having you around at home 💞

A true fitness buddy, he’ll join you on the mat while you do yoga or lift weights 🏋️‍♀️ carefully observing every movement. It’s easy to win him over with playtime: a simple ball or a forgotten piece of paper on the floor becomes prey he’ll chase like an excited little puppy.

He loves trying different kinds of wet food and gets so enthusiastic about it that it’s impossible not to feel like a proud grandma serving an extra portion to her favorite grandson.

At night, his routine is to walk you to bed and stay with you for a few minutes — even better if you have some celebrity gossip show on TV. He’s wonderfully nosy and likes to stay updated 😹

He gets along well with the other foster cats, so he’d fit perfectly into a home with other furry friends.

🌱 𝗕𝗮𝘃𝗶 𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 🌱 (🇪🇸 abajo)

Bavi has come to us with both a lot and a little: a past full of love, and a well of grief. A huge fear, and the slowly-but-surely falling of her defenses. She and her sister spent more than eight months last year alone in their home, still wanted but unable to be cared for beyond the basics of food and a clean litter tray. Loved by someone who wasn't coming home and couldn't let them go. We understand how awful that must be, and in many ways it's the opposite of most of our cats' origin stories.

Bavi had lived with her human since she was a kitten, and they didn't have many visitors. She adored him, and that combined with spending so many months without anyone around meant that she was one of the scardiest 'fraidy cats we've had in a foster home. With time and gentleness she's getting comfortable again and we're seeing her darling personality. The cardboard box-loving, Kinder egg toy-playing girl who just loves to be brushed, petted (to a point!) and keeping her family company on the sofa or the foot of the bed all night long. She loves her big sister but her sister doesn't feel the same, so we are looking for someone for Bavi who is patient and understands that good things take time. That hiding to start with means that you're waiting and yearning, not unloving. If you have a cat already, who needs a submissive second-in-command buddy, even better.

Be brave, Bavi. You got this 🥺❤

Bavi ha llegado a nosotrxs con mucho y con poco a la vez: un pasado lleno de amor y un pozo de dolor. Un miedo enorme y el desmoronamiento, lento pero seguro, de sus defensas. Ella y su hermana pasaron más de 8 meses el año pasado solas en su hogar, seguían siendo queridas, pero sin que nadie pudiera cuidar de ellas más allá de lo básico: comida y un arenero limpio. Queridas por alguien que nunca volvería a casa y que no podía dejarlas marchar. Entendemos lo horrible que debe de ser eso, y en muchos sentidos es lo contrario de la mayoría de las historias de origen de nuestros gatos.

Bavi había vivido con su humano desde que era pequeña, y no recibían muchas visitas. Ella lo adoraba, y eso, combinado con pasar tantos meses sin nadie en casa, hizo que fuera una de las gatitas más miedosas que hemos tenido en una casa de acogida. Con tiempo y delicadeza, se está sintiendo cómoda de nuevo y estamos viendo su encantadora personalidad. La gatita a la que le encantan las cajas de cartón y jugar con los huevos Kinder, a la que le encanta que la cepillen, la acaricien (¡hasta cierto punto!) y hacer compañía a su familia en el sofá o a los pies de la cama toda la noche. Adora a su hermana mayor, pero su hermana no se siente igual, así que buscamos a alguien para Bavi que sea paciente y entienda que las cosas buenas llevan su tiempo. Que esconderse al principio significa que estás esperando y anhelando, no que no quieras a nadie. Si ya tienes un gato que busque una compi sumisa que sea su «segundo al mando», mejor aún.

Sé valiente, Bavi. Tú puedes 🥺❤

💌💘 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗲 & 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶 💘💌 (🇪🇸 en los comentarios)

Our kittens have recently turned into cats 🥺 It's a rare thing that we have kittens celebrate their first birthday whilst still under our care but this year we have three such pairs. It's both an amazing thing to walk through this incredible period of development with them, and makes us sad that their time hasn't come yet. The thing is, it always does, and it always happens right when it's meant to!

Perhaps the most surprising pair of the three, Bowie and Denali have been popular (for obvious reasons 💙💚) since they first arrived with us. They've had plenty of adoption interest, but not the right kind. We have created a new adoption profile for them on our website to better share them with you.

Bowie is a quirky little dude who is fascinated by the small and seemingly insignificant things in our daily world. He may not hear (he's deaf) but his other senses are out-of-this-world heightened. He's in a whole other realm and it is ENTERTAINING 😹 If you look at a small hole left in the wall by a screw and see a small hole in the wall rather than the potential adventure within, Bowie will show you. He sees the world in a fresh and different way and it keeps life interesting.

Denali has never received the attention her brother's striking eyes attract, always a bit in his shadow. She's therefore the most delightful surprise when you meet the pair. She is so affectionate and sweet, a dream cat, one who loves hanging out on your shoulder and whose little paw will come stretching up to you, asking for a cuddle. She also acts as her brother's guide and comes running when he yells for her or seems a bit lost. Emotional intelligence and wanting to be close are Denali's defining characteristics. She is a darling, through and through.

These two are writing their own unique story, racing paw in paw through the world together. They want YOU in their next chapter and will slide into your home and heart in moments. Nuestros gatitos se han convertido recientemente en gatos 🥺 Es poco habitual que los peques celebren su primer cumple mientras siguen bajo nuestro cuidado, pero este año tenemos tres parejas en esta situación. Es maravilloso poder acompañarlos en esta increíble etapa de desarrollo, pero al mismo tiempo nos entristece que aún no haya llegado su momento. ¡La cuestión es que siempre llega, y siempre ocurre justo cuando tiene que ocurrir!

Quizás la pareja más sorprendente de las tres, Bowie y Denali, han sido muy populares (por razones obvias 💙💚) desde que nos llegaron. Han recibido mucho interés, pero no del tipo adecuado. Hemos creado un nuevo ficha para ellos en nuestra web para poder compartirlos mejor con vosotros.

Bowie es un tipo divertido y peculiar al que le fascinan las cosas pequeñas y aparentemente insignificantes de nuestro día a día. Puede que no oiga (es sordo), pero sus otros sentidos están agudizados hasta límites insospechados. Vive en un mundo completamente diferente y es MUY GRACIOSO 😹 Si miras un pequeño agujero que ha dejado un tornillo en la pared y ves solo un agujero en la pared en lugar de la aventura que puede esconder, Bowie te lo enseñará. Él ve el mundo de una forma fresca y diferente, y eso hace que la vida sea interesante.

Denali nunca ha recibido la atención que atraen los llamativos ojos de su hermano, siempre un poco a su sombra. Por eso es la sorpresa más encantadora cuando conoces a los dos. Es tan cariñosa y dulce, una gata de ensueño, a la que le encanta acurrucarse en tu hombro y cuya patita se estira hacia ti, pidiendo un abrazo. También actúa como guía de su hermano y acude corriendo cuando él la llama o parece un poco perdido. La inteligencia emocional y el deseo de estar cerca son las características que definen a Denali. Es un encanto de principio a fin.

Estos dos están escribiendo su propia historia única, corriendo juntos por el mundo, patita a patita. Quieren que TÚ formes parte de su próximo capítulo y se colarán en tu hogar y en tu corazón en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. We’re continuing with other special beauties kittys who still don’t have a family 🖤 A perfectly bonded duo 💞 Maria is always hugging her sister, and Mariona is the one who grooms her and showers her with affection.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮: an explorer and brave. Energetic, an acrobat ready for the Olympics 🥇 She loves feather wands and will try to steal them as her personal trophy (“I won, thanks”). Her sweetest side comes out when she kneads any blanket—she’s a true pastry chef from MasterChef Cat Edition 👩‍🍳🐱 She loves lying on your lap. A great communicator, she chirps like a bird to greet you, ask for cuddles, or invite you to play. She may also do this by gently bumping her head against you.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮: mature, relaxed, and responsible, with a mysterious and reserved touch that will make you want to get to know her better. She takes on the role of protective big sister. She usually relaxes near her favorite humans and purrs when you stroke her head. She loves sniffing your face 😹 A fan of animal documentaries on TV and watching the world from the window. She can entertain herself with a spring-shaped toy, tossing it and jumping like a circus performer.

🐈‍⬛ En adopción: 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨 🐈‍⬛
Black cats are among the last to be adopted due to old myths, even though they can have a 𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖 personality. The sad reality

Nico is one of them—a wonderful cat that so many families would love to have, but you have to look beyond his appearance ❤️ Curious, yet respectful. Active, yet a lover of calm. A little mix of different sides.

A very affectionate cat: he truly enjoys your company, being close to you, and receiving pets. He may even give you a little lick on the hand as a kiss 💋 𝙎𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙩 and loving, but not demanding. He’ll give you your space and also enjoy his own independence.

You can have conversations with him without him talking back 😹 He’ll also run around like a puppy chasing a simple ball. He loves fresh air and relaxing on a terrace.

He has lived with a young child 👦🏻—they were great playmates, and he would sleep curled up on the pillow with him.

For a little laugh: if you leave the bathroom door open 🚽, he’ll come keep you company by jumping onto your legs. He doesn’t care about your needs—his are more important: getting cuddles.

🧡 En adopción: 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶 🧡 (castellano en comentarios)
Every day she lets us see a little more of who she truly is. Careful and cautious, she’s a 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 in the rough who longs for attention and affection 💎 With a desire to interact with people in her own ritual: call her, show her your hand before petting her… and then she responds with her little meow 😺, as if saying “try a little more.”

Her most special trait: she shows her excitement by making her 𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲. It’s adorable! 🥺 It also makes us smile to see how much effort she puts into showing us she’s happy.

She seeks company, but not in an invasive way. She wants to be close, but also have her own space. She loves being petted and will quickly rub up against you. She’s learning to play and also enjoys exploring new spaces and watching the outside world.

She has lived with other cats and would benefit from having feline companionship.

** Since she was 4 months old, she has been missing a small part of her ear and has a very short tail. This does not affect her quality of life.
** Timi has suffered a second abandonment, but she will never set foot on the street again

🤝🏻🐾 Seeking a helping paw this Easter / Buscando una patita solidaria esta Semana Santa 🐾🤝🏻 (🇪🇸 abajo) Bizum 654 777 455

It's been some months since we needed to ask for a bit of help. Not quiet months, it's never quiet! But we haven't had big, devastating situations or bills hit all at once. What we have had is a slow winter creep across several cats who've needed just a bit of extra support. It's added up though, to the tune of 𝟲𝟵𝟬,𝟰𝟴€ 😕 We would really, really appreciate if you could donate even a small amount to please make a dent in this with us.

Our darling 𝑵𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒂 had a brief brush with a urinary problem in early December. She's absolutely fine but needed scans. Her bills totalled 258€.

𝑬𝒏𝒓𝒊𝒄, our prodigal son, required some work to get him back into the condition he was when he left us 😡💔 His bills were 263,18€

And 𝑷𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒂, a new addition to our Gatalunya family, has an issue with her back legs which needed some x-rays and a visit with a neurologist to properly understand. We found out that she broke her hip when she was very young, much younger than 6 months 💔 She survived it and the bones healed in the street, if imperfectly. We spent 169,30€.

The prices for this care have all been incredibly reasonable and we're very grateful to our collaborators in the vet space. Thank you to and 🙌🏼 They do add up though, and we don't recover this money via adoption fees. So sometimes, we need to ask for some support.

All three cats are in great shape and waiting for their forever homes! Han pasado ya unos meses desde que tuvimos que pedir un poco de ayuda. No han sido meses tranquilos, ¡nunca lo son! Pero no hemos tenido que hacer frente a situaciones graves ni a facturas que nos hayan caído todas a la vez. Lo que hemos tenido es un invierno que se ha ido alargando poco a poco, con varios gatos que han necesitado un poco de apoyo extra. Sin embargo, todo ello ha sumado un total de 𝟲𝟵𝟬,𝟰𝟴€ 😕 Agradeceríamos muchísimo si pudieras dar tu granito de arena para ayudarnos a hacer frente a esto.

Nuestra querida 𝑵𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒂 tuvo un breve problema urinario a principios de diciembre. Está perfectamente bien, pero necesitamos hacerle unas pruebas. Sus facturas ascendieron a un total de 258 €.

𝑬𝒏𝒓𝒊𝒄, nuestro hijo pródigo, necesitó algunos cuidados para volver a estar en la misma forma en la que estaba cuando fue adoptado 😡💔 Sus gastos ascendieron a 263,18 €

Y 𝑷𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒂, una nueva incorporación a nuestra familia Gatalunya, tiene un problema en las patas traseras que requirió unas radiografías y una visita a la neuróloga para entenderlo bien. Descubrimos que sufrió fracturas de la cadera cuando era muy pequeña, mucho antes de cumplir los 6 meses 💔 Sobrevivió y los huesos se soldaron en la calle, aunque de forma imperfecta. Gastamos 169,30 €.

Los precios de esta atención han sido increíblemente razonables y estamos muy agradecidxs a nuestros colaboradores del ámbito veterinario. Gracias a y 🙌🏼 Sin embargo, todo esto suma, y no recuperamos este dinero a través de las tarifas de adopción. Por eso, a veces, necesitamos pedir un poco de apoyo.

¡Los tres gatos están super bien y esperando encontrar un hogar definitivo! Sus perfiles están en nuestra página web . Her personality is a mix of sweetness, curiosity, and caution—she observes everything, but always from a place where she feels safe. Her watchtower is the balcony, where she enjoys looking at pigeons and keeping track of people’s daily routines. She also loves staying near the 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 spot on the balcony to take long naps ☀️

She’s an expert when it comes to cuddles and is always looking for a hand to rub her head against. If you’re on the couch, she’ll settle right next to you. Expect purring—and once she trusts you 100%, she’ll even show you her 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 💞

She’s quite the foodie and never misses a good meal. Her weakness: chicken. And how does she get it? By coming close, asking for pets, and insisting on her food 😹 She’s very humble, and even though she has several cat toys available, she’s perfectly happy with a simple piece of 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 📦—though she also enjoys a good play session with feather wand toys.

Nancy has spent the last few years on the streets. She used to live in a home, but the man who owned her struggled with alcohol, and all his animals ended up abandoned; he later passed away. Some of you may remember Trapella and Mec 💔🌈 (they came from the same home as Nancy). Now, she is a fully adapted indoor cat.
