Student dropout in Europe is a long standing issue that its reasons are mixed: financial difficulty, family commitments, inadequate support etc. Those that can play an important role in advising the student and avoid his/ her dropout are the teachers.
Between the 22nd and the 26th of November 2021, 12 teachers from the 1st Vocational School of Drapetsona, Greece, traveled to Barcelona, Spain and participated in a relevant training course, aimed to provide the necessary tools and theoretical knowledge in order for them to enrich their knowledge on the issue and be able to support the students that consider dropping out.
The training was part of the Erasmus+ project under the code 2020-1-EL01-KA102-078614 and title:The "Teacher Advisor" institution and its contribution encountering student dropout in Hellenic Upper Vocational Education (EPA.L.).
