Appreciation post! 👏🏼🙌🏻

A breakfast meeting between the PGM, Jon Whitaker and Roger Maber at Swanwick Marina gave a perfect photo opportunity… seen with the Certificate of Distinguished Service to Hampshire & IoW Masonry awarded to Roger by the PGM during the July AGM at Freemasons Hall in London.

Roger has given outstanding service as Provincial Communications Officer over many years and still continues to support the Province in other capacities.

Congratulations Roger and thank you! 🫡

Metro was invited into the United Grand Lodge of England by the Freemasons, who have been at the centre of wild conspiracies for centuries.

Yet another really good meeting at St Vincent Chapter No5295 again last night for a demonstration ceremony of Exaltation working with the new Hampshire and IOW ritual.

Many thanks to Comp David Morgan (DJ Morgan) for standing in as candidate at the meeting.

Companion David was in the very safe hands of the Sojourners, Comp Nathan Bunyan (Principal Sojourner) Comp Richard Lockwood (1st Assistant Sojourner) and E.Comp Tony Williams ProvGStwd who stood in at a moments notice as (2nd Assistant Sojourner).

Well done E Comp Gavin Webb (MEZ) for all the hard work you always put into your ritual and to E.Comp Kevin Doswell PPGSwdB for stepping in as (H) at a moments notice, excellent work Kevin.

Outstanding ritual yet again from E.Comp Tony Williams ProvGStwd for his explanation of the signs and to E.Comp Paul Davies ProvGStwd for his delivery of the Mystical Lecture, both superbly done.

Special thanks to all our guests, especially the Companions from Neptune Chapter No5150 for their fantastic support again.

Our festive board was made even better with all our guests joining in the banter, fun and laughter. Such great fun was had by all who attended and a nice amount of money raised for charity.

One new rejoining member proposed last night, St Vincent Chapter No5295 is definitely moving in the right direction.

We all know that learning ritual takes effort. But are you actually learning it in the way that works best for you?

W. Bro Graham Chisnell APGM, Deputy Chairman of the Light Blues and Royals Advisory Group, is coming to Cosham Masonic Centre on Wednesday 15th July with something genuinely useful. Discover your own learning style, use it to your advantage, and transform the way you approach ritual from here on in.

Practical, enjoyable, and open to every member of the Province from Entered Apprentice to Grand Officers. Bring a fellow Companion along and make a great evening of it.

Bar opens at 18:15. Talk kicks off at 18:45. You'll be back at the bar by 19:30. Informal dress, come as you are.

Lodge is at recess. Chapter is quiet.

Life does not slow down just because the summer is here. We know that. Family, work, commitments. They do not take a recess.

But the Solomon Diploma is self paced and that changes everything.

Whether you are just beginning or picking up where you left off, even fifteen minutes during the summer can move you forward.

You chose the Royal Arch. You went further than most. Your education in it deserves the same commitment.

“Welcome Companion” is where that next step starts. A module crafted specifically for you.

Your diploma is waiting: https://solomon.ugle.org.uk/course/view.php?id=133
