Out of over 200 applicants, only 70 were accepted — reflecting a competitive 35% acceptance rate.

This year, we are proud to welcome participants from 7 nationalities across 3 continents, making the program worldwide. 🌍✨

Mohamed Elewa is currently a fifth-year student at the Nuclear Applied Technology School in the Department of Electricity. He is deeply passionate about physics, mathematics, and entrepreneurship.
🏆 Mohamed’s achievements is truly impressive:
• 1st in Africa and among the Top 120 worldwide in the Online Physics Olympiad, outperforming both high school and university students.
• 1st in Africa and 54th worldwide in Physics Brawl.
• 2nd in Africa and 18th worldwide in the International Mathematics Bowl.
• Bronze medalist in STEMCO Mathematico, ranking among the Top 150 globally.

Additionally, Mohamed has joined prestigious programs like the Dartmouth Pre-College Finance Program and Build in a Box for entrepreneurship and innovation—broadening his global perspective while enhancing his leadership and problem-solving skills.

Hossam Magdy is a talented second-year physics student at Egypt's Aswan University and an emerging researcher with immense presence in his field of interest. His field of interest includes superconductivity and topological materials for quantum computing and the development of quantum software and simulations using Python and Qiskit. He has been identified as an award-winning clean energy innovator, reflecting his commitment to innovation and sustainability. Also, he has gained hands-on experience through training with leading organizations like IBM and CERN in quantum computing. During the summer of 2025, he achieved a QBronze Diploma at the Open Quantum Institute and pursued a Python programming and machine learning course of study with CodeAlpha. He lives and shares his experiences through his "What are you doing this summer?" series to benefit physics students, showing his motivation as a mentor to our team. His achievement is testimony that he is a viable scientist and technologist!

We’re proud to present the driving forces behind the Atsnee Physics Club, a student-led initiative that’s making waves in science education across our school and beyond.

👨‍🏫 Abdelrahman – Founder
As the club's founder, Abdelrahman brings creativity and organization to every meeting. His commitment to building a community of curious learners has been essential to the club’s success. He plays a key role in organizing events, workshops, and outreach activities that promote scientific thinking and curiosity. With achievements like winning first African place in OPHO and physics brawl.

👨‍🔬 Mohamed elewa – Co-Founder
A passionate physics and mathematics student, Mohamed co founded the Atsnee Physics Club with a clear vision: to create a space where young minds can explore complex scientific ideas through discussions, experiments, and collaborative learning. With achievements like winning first African place in OPHO and physics brawl, his leadership continues to inspire many.

📌 Together, they’ve turned an idea into a dynamic club that promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and love for physics among high school students.

فخورين نعلن عن العقول اللي ورا نادي Atsnee للفيزياء، مبادرة طلابية بدأت من الطلبة وبتغير شكل تعليم العلوم في مدرستنا وبراها كمان.

👨‍🏫 عبد الرحمن – المؤسس
عبد الرحمن هو صاحب فكرة النادي، ودايمًا بيضيف روح الإبداع والتنظيم في كل اجتماع. شغفه ببناء مجتمع من الطلبة الفضوليين علميًا كان سبب رئيسي في نجاح النادي. من تنظيم ورش العمل للأنشطة العلمية المختلفة، دوره أساسي في نشر التفكير العلمي. ومن إنجازاته إنه حقق المركز الأول على أفريقيا في OPHO وPhysics Brawl.

👨‍🔬 محمد علِيوه – الشريك المؤسس
محمد طالب شغوف بالفيزياء والرياضيات، شارك في تأسيس النادي بهدف واضح: يعمل مساحة نناقش فيها الأفكار العلمية المعقدة ونجرب ونفكر سوا بشكل جماعي. قيادته الملهمة كانت دايمًا مصدر إلهام للكتير. ومن إنجازاته كمان إنه حقق المركز الأول على أفريقيا في OPHO وPhysics Brawl.

📌 مع بعض، حوّلوا الفكرة لنادي نشيط بينمّي روح التعاون، والتفكير النقدي، وحب الفيزياء بين طلاب المدرسة.

Today, we honor Hans Bethe, a brilliant physicist who helped unlock the secrets of the stars. Bethe was a German-American scientist whose groundbreaking work in nuclear physics and astrophysics shaped our understanding of the universe.

In 1938, Bethe explained how stars shine, revealing the nuclear fusion processes that power the Sun. This discovery earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1967. During World War II, he also led the theoretical division of the Manhattan Project, contributing to the development of the first atomic bomb, a role he later deeply reflected on, becoming an advocate for arms control and peace.

But Bethe's mind was not confined to one field. He made key contributions in quantum electrodynamics, solid-state physics, and neutrino physics, and mentored generations of scientists.

Hans Bethe's life reminds us that great scientists also carry great responsibility.

النهارده هنتكلم عن هانز بيته، واحد من أعظم علماء الفيزياء النظرية في القرن العشرين. الراجل ده كان عبقري بجد، وفهمه العميق للطبيعة خلانا نعرف إزاي النجوم بتلمع في السما.
في سنة 1938، بيته شرح لأول مرة إزاي الشمس والنجوم بتنتج الطاقة عن طريق الاندماج النووي اللي بيحصل في قلبها. الاكتشاف ده كان سبب فوزه بجايزة نوبل في الفيزياء سنة 1967.
في الحرب العالمية التانية، شارك في مشروع مانهاتن اللي طوّر أول قنبلة نووية عرفها التاريخ، لكنه بعد كده بقى من الناس اللي بينادوا بالسلام وضرورة السيطرة على الأسلحة النووية.
هانز بيته مكنش عبقري في الفيزياء النووية بس، ده كمان ساهم في مجالات تانية زي الفيزياء الكمية، فيزياء الحالة الصلبة، وفيزياء النيوترينوات، وكمان درّس أجيال من العلماء.
قصة هانز بيته بتفكرنا إن العالم مش بس بيكتشف، لكن كمان بيكون مسؤول عن اللي بيعمله.

Nothing shows its wonder more clearly than aviation. The fact that a 400-ton aircraft can fly through the air isn’t magic — it’s Newton’s Laws, Bernoulli’s Principle , and thermodynamics.

As a plane lifts off, it fights gravity using lift. It speeds up with engines that turn fuel ⛽ into thrust 🚀. Every detail — from its path 📍 to its timing ⏱️ — depends on physics.

Whether you’re flying around the world 🌍 or just watching a plane overhead, remember:
Behind every flight is a story written by physics. 🧠

✈️ الفيزياء حوالينا في كل حاجة—خصوصًا في السما.

كل يوم بنعيش تأثير الفيزياء من غير ما نحس. من أول ما الطيارة ✈️ بتقوم من الأرض لحد ما الأقمار الصناعية 🛰️ بتوجهها بالـGPS، الفيزياء ورا كل لحظة في عالم الطيران.

ومفيش حاجة بتوضح جمال الفيزياء زي الطيران. فكرة إن طيارة وزنها 400 طن تطير في السما مش سحر — ده شغل قوانين نيوتن، ومبدأ برنولي، والديناميكا الحرارية .

الطيارة وهي بتقلع بتحارب الجاذبية باستخدام قوة الرفع. والموتور بيحوّل الوقود ⛽ لطاقة دفع 🚀. كل تفصيلة — من المسار 📍 لحد التوقيت ⏱️ — بتعتمد على الفيزياء.

سواء كنت راكب طيارة بتلف بيك العالم 🌍 أو بتتفرج عليها من تحت، افتكر: ✈️ وراء كل رحلة طيران، في قصة كاتبها علم الفيزياء. 🧠
