EBBY - The Egyptian Board on Books for Young People The Egyptian Board on Books for Young People (EBBY) is the Egyptian Section of IBBY.

The Egyptian Board on Books for Young People (EBBY) was first founded in 1987 as the Egyptian Section of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), first in the General Egyptian Book Organization, then the Heliopolis Library, then the Integrated Care Society where it was finally renamed EBBY. EBBY has now found a new home as an independent NGO, supported by a group of champions of children's literature who range from publishers, NGO heads, scholars, writers and corporations.

I was exceptionally proud to be part of the Andersen jury this year as (IBBY Egypt ) and to witness the how all the jury members unanimously agreed that artist Walid Taher be among the 5 shortlisted illustrators ! Mabrouk Walid and Mabrouk Egypt

نظم المجلس المصري لكتب الأطفال بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للغة العربية، وشتي حكي بالتعاون مع مدرسة نوتردام دي سيون لفصلين بالصف الأول الابتدائي.
قدمت الورش د. منى لملوم كاتبة أدب الطفل وعضو مجلس إدارة المجلس المصري لكتب الطفل.

تم حكي قصتين هما:
قصة من الدار المصرية اللبنانية وهي "لست أنا قال الكلب روبن".

وقصة من دار عصفورة (تيتة لارا).

شكرا لإدارة مدرسة نوتردام دي سيون على حسن الاستقبال والتعاون.
