في إطار فعاليات مؤتمر الشباب المحلي للتغير المناخي LCOY Egypt 2025، الذي تستضيفه وتنظمه مؤسسة شباب المتوسط وشركاؤها ،والمعتمد من YOUNGO (الدائرة الرسمية للأطفال والشباب في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغيّر المناخ - UNFCCC)
نظمت الجمعية الطلابية المصرية للمراجعة الإكلينيكية وكفاءة الممارسة الطبية (ESCAPE) بالتعاون مع الجمعية العلمية لطلاب كلية الطب جامعة الدلتا (DSSS) حدثًا بعنوان:
White Coats for Green Future: Healing Plants, Healing People
والذي تم تنظيمه بجامعة الدلتا وبحضور عدد من الطلاب والخريجين من مختلف الكليات الطبية لمناقشة دور ممارسي القطاعات الصحية تجاه تغير المناخ كأكبر مشكلة صحية في القرن الحالي كما أشارت منظمة الصحة العالمية - WHO
والذي تضمن عدد من الجلسات عن:
✅ مفهوم الصحة العامة وعلاقته بالتغير المناخي
✅ تأثير التغير المناخي على الصحة النفسية العامة لجميع ساكني الأرض
✅ أهم ما تم مناقشه في خلال عشرين عام من مؤتمرات الأطراف - COPs
نحو مستقبل أكثر صحة وخضارًا 🌎
As part of the activities of the Local Conference of Youth on Climate Change (LCOY Egypt 2025), which is hosted and organized by the Mediterranean Youth Foundation (MYF) and its partners, officially endorsed by YOUNGO (The Official Children and Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change UNFCCC)
the Egyptian Student’s Society for Clinical Audit and Professional Efficiency (ESCAPE) in Collaboration with Delta Student’s Scientific Society (DSSS) organized an event entitled:
White Coats for a Green Future: Healing Plants, Healing People
The event was held at Delta University, with the participation of students and graduates from various medical faculties to discuss the role of healthcare practitioners in addressing climate change as the greatest health challenge of the 21st century, as highlighted by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The program included a number of sessions on:
✅ The concept of public health and its relation to climate change
✅ The impact of climate change on global mental health
✅ Key outcomes discussed throughout twenty years of the Conference of the Parties (COPs)
All in pursuit of a healthier and greener future 🌎
