Yirol cultural dance Team{YCDT} base in Egypt emerged the best during LoL fundraising Event for establishment of cultural center in Matarya sporting club {pharaoh Hall}. Their performance on stage reflects culture identity, promotes teamwork, peace and cooperation.

With hundreds of students who have signed out today from Various universities in Egypt, we're thrilled to celebrate the success of our brother,Eng. Majok Majok Nyol.
Majok is a graduad of Petroleum Engineering, SUEZ UNIVERSITY, EGYPT.
It's not been an easy path but your hard work and resilience have finally yielded fruits!
The YSA community here and back home is super proud of you.

Leadership is an integral part of education.

Upon arrival at Cairo international airport on 21st January 2022 at 10:00pm, I was warmly received by Taban Christopher and Aaron majier Anyak. We proceeded to Cairo university student's hostel where I met Yirol senior students. 3 days later, Yirol students' Association in Arab republic of Egypt under leadership of Benjamin mayor Anuach called general assembly meeting and I/we all invited as newly admitted students in Egyptian universities and higher institutes. In the course of a 4 hour meeting, I/we received a piece of advice and encouragement from both leadership and general assembly members on how to tackle academic challenges.
YSA leadership 2022-2023 structured as follow
1. Mayor Benjamin-former chairperson
2. Amos Mading Kerkuei - former secretary general
3. Makuac Machiek Kook Lueth - former finance secretary
4. Majok Thuch lueth- former speaker
5. Mangar Gabriel - former secretary for information
The above leadership served Yirol students' Association with integrity, dedication and respect.
May God give them more opportunities to lead in the future..

In 2023-2024 after mayor Anuach term elapsed , khaman makoi was elected as chairman of the Yirol students Association..
under his leadership, I worked as deputy secretary general together with other cabinet members as shown below 👇
1. Chud Mangar Buong- former council's speaker
2. Aguek Malual- former secretary general
3. Petro Mabor - former deputy secretary general
3. Deng Mabil - former finance secretary
4. Oxcisaro Deng - former deputy secretary for finance.
5. Majok Achuoth- former secretary for academic affairs
Our then leadership worked hard to meet goals and objectives of the Association.

In 2024-2025, timely transition done by incumbent leadership and Chudi Mangar Buong, former speaker emerged as elected Chairlady. Chudi Mangar was admitted in Cairo university, faculty of mass and communication, 2021-2022. Under her leadership, I was re-appointed as finance Secretary. I'm humbled for trust bestowed upon me by her and general assembly.
Among the cabinet members were:;;
1. Mangar Gabriel - former secretary general
2. Majok De Kang Gutäbor - former speaker of the council
3. Petro Mabor kot - former finance secretary
4. Job Nati - information secretary
5. Malou Marial - former secretary for academic affairs
6. Deng madit - former secretary for culture and sports.

In a separate statement,
I thank the Independent electoral commission/committee (IEC) headed by Taban Amiet Jam and his team for conducting free and fair election.
To the YSA general assembly, thank u so much for trust u bestowed upon me again to serve as chairman. I promise to lead you with respect and committed to transparency, inclusivity and progress. I and secretary general, Apandit Majok Maweltung as well as speaker of council Malüil Riak Jr. Will work tirelessly to address students' challenges.

A leader serve and go but legacy remains behind!

It’s with great honor and a heart full of gratitude that today I can say congratulations to the newly elected chairman.

As outgoing chairperson of Yirol Students association in Egypt, the journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and I’m grateful for the trust you all placed in me to lead this incredible community.

Over the past two years we have achieved so much together, faced challenges, and supported each other every step of the way, and none of this would have been possible without the dedication and commitment of every member of this association, at times I felt like the road was steep, but we persevered and emerged stronger as a team. And those challenges taught me invaluable lessons about leadership resilience and importance of collaboration.

From my own experience I have learned that the key to success is teamwork nothing can be achieved alone, so always listen, communicate and trust in each other and make sure that everyone’s voice is heard.

As I pass the torch to you as a new chairman
I’m confident that Yirol Students Association in Arab Republic of Egypt 🇪🇬 (YSA) will continue to thrive, Just focused and always put the needs of the students at the forefront.
And I will continue working together with you to make Yirol a place of opportunity growth and unity.

To my beautiful community Yirol and South Sudan at large in Egypt, you have been the silent strength behind my every step, your words of wisdom, patience guidance to seeing me succeed have been my anchor, every challenge faced and every milestone we celebrated it was because of your love and courage that I was able to carry on, as I step down from this role, I carry your encouraging words with me, and I hope to honor it by continuing to give back to the community we’ve built together.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for work well done for organizing and overseeing the election process.
Your dedication to ensuring that the elections were fair and conducted with integrity has been crucial to the success of our association.
The responsibility you carried was no small task, efforts and care you put in, to make sure everything ran smoothly.

I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in sending gratitude for your outstanding support during the honoring of graduates and fundraising events, On 18th December 2024.
In the past one month, I have been busy focusing on my exams hence the delay.

To our graduates I want to take a moment to honor and celebrate each of you for your remarkable resilience and unwavering dedication.
Completing this milestone is not a small feat and your perseverance through challenges, commitment to your goals and determination to succeed are truly inspiring, you’ve not only achieved academic excellence but also demonstrated the strength of character and hard work that will serve you well in all aspects of life.

Our team had a chance to meet Hon:Santo Malek Anai , The Secretary for Political Affairs, Mobilization and Organization - SPLM National Secretariat.

The meeting was purposely to thank Santo in person after gracing YSA 2024_2025 Honoring of Graduates event conducted on 18th of December as the Guest of Honour.

Santo, on his side applauded the leadership for organizing and Uniting Students, Stressed the need to remain committed to finishing studies, go back home to help in the Country's ongoing developmental Process .

Thank you Santo for everything , we are grateful .
