انطلاقًا من أهمية البيانات في دعم السياسات العامة، يطلق المعمل المصري لقياس الأثر برنامج جِسر، وهو برنامج تدريبي رائد جديد يهدف إلى تمكين الشركاء الحكوميين من الاستفادة من البيانات الإدارية في دعم اتخاذ القرار وصنع سياسات أكثر كفاءة وأثرًا.

كيف يمكن للحكومات تحويل الأدلة إلى نتائج أفضل للمزارعين على نطاق واسع؟
تقود وزارة الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي هذا المسار، من خلال شراكتها مع المعمل المصري لقياس الأثر، من خلال حابي، ممثلة في المعهد القومي للحوكمة والتنمية المستدامة، لتقييم مشروع التحول المستدام للمواءمة الزراعية في صعيد مصر (STAR) وفق منهجيات تقييم دقيقة.
بدعم من الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية، يمتد STAR على مدى سبع سنوات عبر محافظات المنيا وأسيوط وسوهاج، ليصل إلى 160 قرية بهدف تعزيز الإنتاجية والمرونة وتحسين سبل العيش لصغار المزارعين.

How can governments turn evidence into better outcomes for farmers at scale?
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation is leading the way, partnering with the Egypt Impact Lab, through HAPIE, as represented by the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, to rigorously evaluate the Sustainable Transformation for Agricultural Resilience (STAR) project.
Supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), STAR is a seven-year, large-scale programme across Menya, Assyut, and Sohag, reaching 160 villages to strengthen productivity, resilience, and livelihoods for smallholder farmers.

ما الذي يتطلبه التقييم الدقيق لواحدة من أكبر استثمارات التنمية الزراعية في صعيد مصر؟
يتعاون المعمل المصري لقياس الأثر، من خلال مركز حابي، مع وزارة الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي لتقييم مشروع التحول المستدام للمواءمة الزراعية في صعيد مصر(STAR).
بدعم من الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية (IFAD)، يُنفَّذ مشروع STAR على مدار سبع سنوات في محافظات المنيا وأسيوط وسوهاج، حيث يستهدف في مرحلته الأولى الوصول إلى ١٦٠ قرية. ويهدف المشروع إلى تمكين صغار المزارعين في صعيد مصر من خلال تعزيز قدرتهم على الصمود، وزيادة إنتاجيتهم، وتحسين سبل معيشتهم.

What does it take to rigorously evaluate one of the largest agricultural development investments in Upper Egypt?
The Egypt Impact Lab, through the Hub of Advanced Policy Innovation for the Environment (HAPIE), is partnering with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation to evaluate the Sustainable Transformation for Agricultural Resilience (STAR) project.

👉 يتولى قيادة التقييم أحد خريجي برنامج زمالة باحثي منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، مما يعكس دور المعمل في دعم القدرات البحثية الوطنية.
💡يقوم المعمل المصري لقياس الأثر، بالتعاون مع البنك المركزي المصري، بتقييم أثر برنامج البنك المدرسي، وهي مبادرة وطنية لتعزيز الثقافة المالية لدى الشباب يتم تنفيذها على مستوى المدارس في جميع المحافظات.

💡The Egypt Impact Lab (EIL) has maintained a partnership with the CCentral Bank of Egypt - البنك المركزي المصري Bank of Egypt and is currently developing an evaluation for the School Bank program, a nationwide youth financial literacy initiative delivered in schools.

This two-year fellowship offers researchers from the MENA region hands-on experience designing and implementing randomized evaluations that inform policy and drive impact.
Scholars receive mentorship from J-PAL affiliates, expand networks, access specialized training, and contribute to ongoing evaluations with J-PAL MENA and Egypt Impact Lab.
This fellowship is made possible with support from Community Jameel and the SSawiris Foundation for Social Development

📣 «في الأردن، تُسهم الأدلة في رسم ملامح مستقبل التعليم.»
استضاف معمل عبد اللطيف جميل لمكافحة الفقر – الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا في الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، بالشراكة مع مؤسسة درسل ومركز الملكة رانيا العبدالله لتكنولوجيا التعليم والمعلومات في وزارة التربية والتعليم الأردنية، ورشة تدريبية مشتركة جمعت قيادات تعليمية رفيعة المستوى من الأردن.
ركّزت الورشة على مناقشة المؤشرات الأولية الناتجة عن مرحلة خط الوسط من التقييم، إلى جانب الدروس العملية التي تُسهم في توجيه المرحلة القادمة من تطبيق التكنولوجيا التعليمية، وذلك باستخدام برنامج درسل للرياضيات المدعوم بالذكاء الاصطناعي كدراسة حالة.
📊 شارك الحضور في نقاشات حول النتائج الأولية، والتعلّم على مستوى السياسات، والخطوات القادمة لتعزيز إصلاح التعليم القائم على الأدلة في المنطقة.

📣"In Jordan, evidence is shaping the future of education."
J-PAL MENA at The American University in Cairo, in partnership with Darsel Jordan and the Queen Rania Center for Education and Information Technology at the Jordanian Ministry of Education, hosted a joint training workshop bringing together senior education leaders from Jordan.
The workshop focused on discussing preliminary insights from the midline phase of the evaluation, along with practical lessons to guide the next stage of education technology implementation, using Darsel’s AI-powered math program as a case study.
📊 Participants engaged in discussions on emerging findings, policy learning, and next steps to strengthen evidence-based education reform in the region.
