EPSF-MSA

EPSF-MSA EPSF-MSA is the Pharmaceutical association representing pharmacy students at MSA University. EPSF consists of seven committees; each one plays a definite rule.

EPSF (Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation) is a non-governmental, non political, and non-religious organization and is the leading national advocacy organization of pharmacy students in Egypt, promoting improved public health through provision of information, education, networking, and a range of publication and professional activities. EPSF is an independent organization under the superv

ision of the Egyptian Pharmacists’ Syndicate and Egyptian Pharmaceutical Association (the national FIP) and administrated by Students. EPSF is the full member federation representing Egypt in IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation). EPSF was founded in 1982 as the national representative of all pharmacy students in Egypt to be the head of all scientific associations in the Egyptian pharmacy schools. The national federation now represents more than 37,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates in 21 schools of pharmacy. EPSF board consists of President, General Secretary, Treasurer and seven chairpersons, all of them are elected in addition to several appointed coordinators. Committees:

Committee of Public Health:

Responsible for organizing EPSF Public health campaigns e.g.: Breast cancer campaigns, Health living campaigns, Hepatitis awareness campaigns. Also World health days e.g. Diabetes day, HIV/AIDS Day, TB Day, World Health Day, Anti-Tobacco Day. Committee of Professional Development:

Responsible for ensuring pharmacy education quality at both the institution and membership levels and to advocate the role of the pharmacist with skills to effectively communicate with patients, other health professionals. E.g.: Patient Counseling Event "PCE", Pharmacy Professional Awareness Campaign "PPAC", Clinical skills Event "CSE" and leaders in Training "LIT". Committee of Continuous Education:

Responsible for holding events (workshops, lectures, courses) for developing skills of all pharmacy students. E.g.: Step On The Way "a Soft Skills program" and Future Pharmacist Program "a complete educational program to improve pharmacy students”. Committee of Students Exchange:

Responsible for students exchange through IPSF students exchange program. The aim of SEP is to promote understanding and cooperation amongst pharmacy students and all health care professionals. The exchange program offers a unique educational and cultural experience in addition to the regular pharmaceutical knowledge. It also helps to broaden the students' understanding of pharmaceutical and social conditions in different countries. Committee of Marketing:

Responsible for Managing official pages on different platforms in addition to its role in providing ideas for the content and activities of those pages and promoting various events. Committee of External Relations:

Established in order to keep EPSF in touch with all governmental and non-governmental organizations supporting all EPSF activities. Committee of Media & Publications:

Responsible for editing and designing all EPSF official documents like annual reports, Booklets and posters leaflets for EPSF events and activities. Committee of Logistics & Organization:

Responsible for the federation national events and public campaigns organization, also supporting other executive members if they need assistance. Committee of Internal Relationship:

Established to manage the relationships inside the organisation and for the entity bonding in addition to support the members of the organisation
