📖🤗What a way to end the school year! 👏💙

Although there are still a few weeks left of school, all of our students participated in our final open house this year and showcased what they have learned during our Final Projects Fair! Family, friends, Center staff and visitors came to see all the incredible things our students (with the amazing help from their teachers and our volunteers) have worked on 😍 From numbers to magic tricks (based on probability), welding & metal sculptures, Ecuador’s rich history and diversity, to outer space and dance, our students were MARVELOUS!!!

Here’s to a successful year and an exciting future ahead! ¡FELICITACIONES A TODAS Y TODOS! 🎉📚✨

🎉💕Today is Pepina’s “Gotchya Day!” Let’s go back to May 7th, 2020, at the height of the pandemic - Olivia, our Community Director, and Dakota, our YLV, found a lil pup on the Center soccer field after leaving the comedor where they were making emergency food kits, coaxed her down to the house with some leftover lunch…and the rest is history 🥰

For those who haven’t been to the Center in the past 6 years, you’re missing out on a major addition to our - ask anyone here! Pepina Luna is loved so greatly and has brought so much joy to our volunteers, visitors, students & faculty/staff! She is such a gift to our community!
