Today, we celebrate the joy, creativity, curiosity, and limitless potential of every child.

At Youth-LED Algeria, we believe that investing in children means investing in the future. The children of today are the young leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers of tomorrow. Every opportunity we create for them to learn, grow, and express themselves contributes to building a stronger and more inclusive society.

Through education, creativity, cultural awareness, and community engagement, we strive to support initiatives that help children develop confidence, critical thinking, and a sense of belonging.

On this special day, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering the next generation and creating environments where every child can dream, discover, and thrive.

نحتفي اليوم بفرحة الأطفال وإبداعهم وفضولهم وقدرتهم اللامحدودة على صناعة مستقبل أفضل.

في جمعية الشباب لتنمية روح المبادرة و الأعمال نؤمن بأن الاستثمار في الأطفال هو استثمار في المستقبل. فأطفال اليوم هم شباب الغد، وقادة المستقبل، ورواد الأعمال والمبتكرون وصناع التغيير الذين سيساهمون في بناء مجتمع أكثر قوة وازدهارًا.

من خلال التعليم والإبداع والتوعية الثقافية والمشاركة المجتمعية، نسعى إلى دعم المبادرات التي تساعد الأطفال على تنمية ثقتهم بأنفسهم، وتطوير مهاراتهم، وتعزيز إحساسهم بالانتماء والمسؤولية.

وفي هذا اليوم المميز، نجدد التزامنا بالمساهمة في خلق بيئة تُمكّن كل طفل من التعلم والاكتشاف وتحقيق أحلامه.

🌟 Preserving Heritage Through Creativity and Learning 🌟
As part of the TOT Program supported by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Algérie, Dr. Sara CHAFI organized and facilitated the workshop "Descendants of Heritage", an educational and creative experience designed to connect children with Algeria's rich cultural heritage in an engaging and interactive way.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with Youth-LED Algeria, the Multi-Activity Hall of Didouche Mourad, and the Didouche Mourad Handball Club, as part of the celebration of National Heritage Month.

Throughout the workshop, children embarked on a journey through time to discover the history, values, and treasures of Algerian heritage through a variety of educational and hands-on activities, including:
Heritage Discovery Session
• Introduction to Algeria's tangible and intangible cultural heritage
• Understanding the importance of preserving heritage for future generations
Interactive Heritage Challenge
• Educational games and competitions
• Fun activities designed to encourage learning through play
Clay Modeling Workshops
• Creating traditional heritage-inspired artifacts using clay
• Developing creativity while exploring historical symbols and monuments
• Hands-on artistic experiences that allowed children to connect with their cultural identity

The workshop provided a unique opportunity for children to learn, create, and celebrate their heritage while fostering a sense of pride in their roots and national identity.

At Youth-LED Algeria, we believe that empowering future generations begins with helping them understand and appreciate their cultural legacy.

الحفاظ على التراث من خلال الإبداع والتعلم
، قامت الدكتورة شافي سارة بتنظيم وتأطير ورشة "أحفاد التراث"، وهي تجربة تعليمية وإبداعية تهدف إلى ربط الأطفال بتراثهم الجزائري الغني بطريقة تفاعلية وممتعة

نُظمت الورشة بالتعاون بين جمعية الشباب لتنمية روح المبادرة و الأعمال وقاعة متعددة النشاطات ديدوش مراد وجمعية أبطال الجيل لكرة اليد ديدوش مراد، وذلك بمناسبة الاحتفال بـ شهر التراث

خلال الورشة، خاض الأطفال رحلة عبر الزمن لاكتشاف تاريخ وتراث الجزائر وقيمه من خلال مجموعة من الأنشطة التعليمية والتطبيقية، من بينها:
رحلة استكشافية للتراث
• التعرف على التراث الجزائري المادي واللامادي
• فهم أهمية الحفاظ على التراث للأجيال القادمة
تحدي الأذكياء
• مسابقات وألعاب تعليمية تفاعلية
• التعلم بطريقة ممتعة تعتمد على المشاركة والتفاعل
ورشات العمل بالطين
• تصميم مجسمات مستوحاة من التراث الجزائري باستخدام الطين
• تنمية الإبداع واكتشاف الرموز والمعالم التاريخية
• تجارب فنية عملية عززت ارتباط الأطفال بهويتهم الثقافية

أتاحت هذه الورشة للأطفال فرصة فريدة للتعلم والإبداع والاحتفاء بتراثهم، كما ساهمت في تعزيز شعورهم بالفخر بهويتهم الوطنية وجذورهم الثقافية

في جمعية الشباب لتنمية روح المبادرة و الأعمال نؤمن أن تمكين الأجيال القادمة يبدأ بمساعدتها على فهم تراثها وتقدير قيمته والمحافظة عليه

🌍✨ Save the Earth, One Game at a Time 2026

A few weeks ago, we brought together creativity, sustainability, collaboration, and Design Thinking for a workshop that turned environmental awareness into playful learning experiences for children

Over two immersive days, participants explored:

→ Human-Centered Design

→ Environmental Sustainability

→ Game-Based Learning

→ Collaboration & Creativity

From empathy maps and brainstorming sessions to prototyping, testing, and iteration, every team transformed ideas into interactive educational experiences designed to inspire environmental awareness and action among children.

But beyond the games and activities, this workshop became a space for:

→ connection

→ experimentation

→ teamwork

→ shared learning

→ and meaningful conversations

Looking back at these moments reminds us that small ideas, when built together, can create real impact.

And this is only the beginning

🌍✨ Save the Earth, One Game at a Time 2026

As part of our Training of Trainers on Soft Skills with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Algérie, Youth LED Algeria organized and delivered a 2-day immersive workshop led by Rihal Namoussi and Amira Touazzi :

“Co-Creating Environmental Awareness Games for Children with Design Thinking”

This workshop brought together creativity, environmental education, and human-centered innovation to explore how play can become a powerful tool for building educated communities that take action.

Throughout the workshop, participants explored:

🌱 Environmental Sustainability & Climate Awareness

🧠 Design Thinking & Human-Centered Problem Solving

🎮 Game-Based Learning for Children

🤝 Collaboration, Creativity & Facilitation Skills

Participants worked in teams to:

→ Understand children’s behaviours, emotions, and motivations through empathy activities

→ Define real environmental challenges affecting communities

→ Generate and develop creative game concepts

→ Build prototypes using simple materials

→ Test, improve, and iterate their ideas through feedback and observation

From empathy maps and brainstorming sessions to storyboarding, prototyping, and testing, every team transformed ideas into meaningful educational experiences designed to make sustainability more engaging, accessible, and actionable for children.

This workshop was not only about designing games. It was about learning how to design experiences that inspire awareness, responsibility, and long-term behavioural change.

A huge thank you to every participant who brought energy, curiosity, teamwork, and creativity into this experience 💚

من خرائط التعاطف وجلسات العصف الذهني إلى رسم السيناريوهات، والنمذجة الأولية، والاختبار، استطاع كل فريق تحويل أفكاره إلى تجارب تعليمية هادفة تجعل الاستدامة أكثر تفاعلاً، سهولة، وقابلية للتطبيق بالنسبة للأطفال

لم تكن هذه الورشة مجرد تصميم ألعاب، بل كانت تجربة لتعلّم كيفية تصميم تجارب تُلهم الوعي، والمسؤولية، والتغيير السلوكي طويل المدى
