👶✨ PRESENTING AGNES CATALINA TO THE LORD ✨👶

This Sunday is going to be a very special day for our BRP family.

Just weeks after welcoming baby Agnes into the world, we will be traveling to Santo Domingo to present her before the Lord during a baby dedication service at Casa del Altísimo.

For Agnes, this is a beautiful moment.

For the 35 girls who call Casa Azul home, it is something special, too.

Many of these girls have never experienced healthy family traditions, joyful celebrations, or a church community that surrounds them with love and support. Days like this become opportunities to create new memories, build healthy relationships, worship together, and experience the faithfulness of God in tangible ways.

After the service, the girls will spend the day together enjoying pizza, a movie, fellowship, and lots of fun.

A generous sponsor has already covered transportation for the entire group! 🚍💛

Now we're raising the final $1,000 needed to make this day possible for all 35 girls.

Would you consider helping sponsor this special day?

❤️ $30 Blessing Sponsor
Provides one girl with a complete day of worship, fellowship, food, and fun.

❤️ $150 Celebration Sponsor
Provides popcorn and drinks for the entire group.

❤️ $360 Fellowship Sponsor
Provides pizza for the entire group.

❤️ $425 Joy Sponsor
Provides movie tickets for the entire group.

❤️ $1,000 Kingdom Sponsor
Funds the entire day for all 35 girls.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps create moments of joy, connection, healing, and belonging.

Two little girls are safe.

Recently, two young sisters, just 8 and 9 years old, were brought into protection after enduring severe neglect and abuse.

For far too long, they had been living in conditions no child should ever experience. They were often left locked inside their home alone for days at a time, without proper care and sometimes without food.

One of the girls arrived carrying visible signs of physical abuse.

Both arrived carrying wounds no child should ever have to bear.

And yet, even in the midst of everything they have endured, their resilience shines through.

Since arriving at Casa Azul, they have already begun adjusting beautifully. Their laughter is returning. Their energy is returning. Their little personalities are beginning to shine as they experience safety, consistency, and care.

This is what rescue looks like.

Sometimes it is dramatic and immediate. Sometimes it comes after months of advocacy and intervention behind the scenes.

But every time, it matters.

Because every child deserves to know what it feels like to be safe.
Every child deserves to be fed, protected, and cared for.
Every child deserves the chance to simply be a child.

Today, these two precious girls are no longer surviving alone.

They are safe. They are loved. And they are beginning again.

Please keep these sisters in your prayers as they continue to heal, rest, and adjust to this new chapter.

Thank you for standing with us as we continue the work of rescuing, restoring, and protecting vulnerable children in the Dominican Republic. 💛

Today, 7 pounds of blessings arrived. 💗🤱🏽

At 3:55 PM today, sweet baby Agnes made her beautiful entrance into the world, weighing 7.5 pounds of pure blessing.

Mama “A” and baby are both doing well, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

Many of you have been praying for “A” throughout this journey. You have prayed for her safety, for her peace, for a healthy delivery, and for this precious little life growing inside of her.

Today, we get to celebrate answered prayers. ❤️

What makes this moment even more special is the story behind it.

Not long ago, “A” came to Batey Rehab Project after being rescued from trafficking and exploitation. Her story began in deep pain and uncertainty, but today, it holds new life, new hope, and a future filled with possibility.

And now, little Agnes is here. A beautiful reminder that redemption writes new stories.

Thank you for praying. Thank you for standing with survivors like “A.” Thank you for helping make moments like this possible.

Please continue praying for Mama and baby as they rest, recover, and begin this beautiful new chapter together. 💛

She is only 10 years old.

Recently, a young girl, "A", was brought into safety after experiencing severe exploitation and abuse.

What we know is heartbreaking. She comes from an incredibly vulnerable background and had been carrying burdens no child should ever have to bear. She arrived malnourished, exhausted, and in urgent need of care.

But today, she is safe.

She is no longer in that environment. She is now surrounded by people who are committed to protecting her, caring for her, and helping her begin again.

Right now, our focus is simple but critical. Rest. Nourishment. Medical care. Safety.

The road to healing will not happen overnight. There is much that must be restored physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

But this is where hope begins.

This is why Casa Azul exists.

This is why we say yes when the call comes.

This is why your prayers and support matter so deeply.

Please pray for this precious girl as she begins her journey toward healing. Pray for strength, protection, comfort, and that she would begin to experience the safety and love every child deserves.

And thank you for standing with us as we continue the work of rescuing, restoring, and empowering vulnerable girls in the Dominican Republic. 💛

Two girls arrived at Casa Azul on March 31.

They came together, identified as sisters. One is 16. The other is 12.

The older girl found the courage to speak up. She reported ongoing abuse and shared her concern that the younger girl may also be at risk. Because of her bravery, a report was made... and both girls were brought to safety.

The man responsible, who had been acting as their father, is now in custody. The case remains under investigation.

There are still many unanswered questions about their story. What we do know is this:

They are safe.

They are no longer in that environment. They are now in a place where they are protected, cared for, and beginning the long process of healing.

For many girls, speaking up is the most dangerous and difficult step. For her, it was the step that changed everything... not only for herself, but for the girl beside her.

This is the reality of the work.

Abuse often hides behind familiar titles and trusted roles. It can go unseen for far too long. But when a child finds the courage to speak, it opens the door for intervention, protection, and hope.

Because of your support, we are able to receive girls like these sisters immediately... providing safe shelter, trauma-informed care, and the opportunity to begin again.

Please keep both girls in your prayers as they walk through the early days of healing.

She is only 13 years old.

Recently, authorities received a report that led to the rescue of two young girls who had been experiencing ongoing sexual exploitation.

What was uncovered was heartbreaking. These girls had been exposed to situations no child should ever face, involving multiple perpetrators over an extended period of time.

But today, there is a different part of the story to tell.

On February 25, "C" was brought into safety.

She is no longer in that environment. She is now in a place where she is protected, cared for, and surrounded by people who are committed to her healing and future.

At just 13, she has already faced more than most ever will. She comes from a background of deep poverty and limited access to education. She is beginning again in so many ways.

And yet… she is already showing resilience.

Since arriving, she has been learning, growing, and taking steps forward. What was once survival is slowly becoming stability. What was once fear is beginning to be replaced with safety.

This is the reality of the work.

Trafficking and exploitation are happening to children far younger than many realize. It doesn’t always look the way people expect, and it often hides in plain sight.

But rescue is possible.
Healing is possible.
A new future is possible.

Because of your support, we are able to say yes when these cases come. We are able to provide safe housing, trauma-informed care, and the opportunity for these girls to rebuild their lives.

Please keep this young girl in your prayers as she continues on her journey toward healing.

And thank you for standing with us in the work of rescuing, restoring, and empowering.

She is only 16 years old.

Last year, "A" was rescued from one of the most difficult situations we’ve encountered. After enduring exploitation and abuse, she made the brave decision to speak up and tell her story... a decision that ultimately led her to safety.

Today, she is in our care.
And in just a few weeks, she will become a mother.

Baby Agnes is due May 17. 💕

In her own words, "A" shared how grateful she feels to be safe and supported, even in the midst of fear and uncertainty. Like many first-time moms, she’s nervous about what’s ahead… but she’s no longer facing it alone.

Now, we have the opportunity to surround her with love in a tangible way.

We’ve created a baby registry to help provide everything she and Baby Agnes will need as they begin this new chapter together. Every item, big or small,is a way to remind her that she is supported, seen, and not alone.

If you feel led, we would be so grateful for your support.

Every gift is more than just a necessity.
It’s a step toward stability.
A step toward healing.
A step toward hope.

Thank you for standing with "A" and for helping us welcome Baby Agnes into a safe and loving environment. 💛

This month, we’ve been given a powerful opportunity.

We have been invited to attend The Father's Love Conference in Santo Domingo... a space focused on healing, identity, and restoration.

We are planning to bring a group of 20 survivors and staff leaders to experience this time together.

For our girls, this is not just another event.

It is space to encounter the love of a Heavenly Father.

It is space to strengthen their identity.
It is space to continue rebuilding what trauma tried to steal.

But we cannot make this happen without you.

We need to raise $4,500 in less than one week to secure this opportunity.

Here is the breakdown:
• $2,800 – Hotel
• $700 – Transportation
• $1,000 – Food

Every dollar helps create room for breakthrough, deeper healing, and renewed hope.

God is writing a new story in the lives of these girls.

A story marked by restoration.
A story marked by belonging.
A story marked by freedom.

Will you partner with us?

Give today and help send 20 hearts into a weekend that could shift their future.

She is 10 years old.

This week, we received a call directly from a judge asking if we could receive a young girl into Casa Azul following an active investigation.

After reviewing the case details, it became clear that this was not only abuse.
This was trafficking.

Multiple perpetrators had been exchanging money and gifts in order to exploit her.

We immediately escalated the case to the appropriate anti-trafficking authorities. With coordinated support from law enforcement, two men were located and arrested within 24 hours.

At this time, the investigation remains ongoing.
There may be additional victims.

But today, what we do know is this:

A child who was being trafficked is now safe.

She is no longer within reach of those who harmed her.
She is in a protected environment where her healing journey can begin with trauma-informed care, stability, and support.

Trafficking is not always what people expect it to look like.
And it is impacting younger and younger children.

Please keep this young girl in your prayers as she begins the long road toward restoration at Casa Azul.

Let us not live with words and speech but with actions and truth. 1 John 3:18

At BRP we witness the blessing of Love in Action on a daily basis. It’s love that heals deep wounds and years of trauma. It’s love that helps them to trust again and it’s His love that ultimately provides them true freedom.

Every year we take the opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a gift exchange but with a focus on what the Bible teaches us about love.

Thank you to all our advocates who continue to show their love for our girls and our ministry.

Feliz día de amor y amistad
