Drømmer du om at skrive et scenarie til Fastaval 2027? Så er det nu du skal læse med!
I år er der deadline for scenarie-synopser FREDAG d. 28. AUGUST kl. 23.59🤩

For at få en plads på det officielle program til Fastaval 2026, skal du indsende en 1-2 siders synopsis til de scenarieansvarlige, som fastlægger årets felt. I synopsen skal du udpensle din ide og fortælle om, hvad du regner med spillerne kommer til at opleve undervejs.
Synopsis-modellen er udviklet, fordi der oftest er flere scenarie-ideer, end der er pladser og lokaler på Fastaval. Synopserne giver også de scenarieansvarlige mulighed for at sikre både bredde, kvalitet og diversitet blandt forfatterne - der skal nemlig både være plads til debutanter og gamle rotter.🧡

I løbet af juni og august afholder vi 2 online workshops. Hvis du er debutant eller kun har skrevet få scenarier, vil vi også gerne hjælpe dig med en synopsis-sparringspartner.😁

Hvis du har spørgsmål eller tanker om Otto’en på Fastaval, er du meget velkommen til at skrive til de scenarieansvarlige, som kan formidle kontakt til årets overdommer.

🐧🎉CALL-FOR PROGRAMME - scenarios at Fastaval 2027🎉🐧

Are you thinking of writing a scenario for Fastaval 2027? Then now is the time to pay attention and read on.
This year, the deadline for scenario synopses will be FRIDAY AUGUST 28TH at 11.59 PM (Danish time)🤩

To get a spot on the official programme for Fastaval 2027, you need to submit a 1-2 page synopsis to the scenario coordinators, who will be curating the roleplaying line-up. A synopsis is a pitch, elaborating on your idea, telling us what the participators will be experiencing during the game. The synopsis model was developed because there most often are far more scenario-ideas, than there are free slots and rooms at Fastaval. It also allows the scenario coordinators create a varied programme, to secure quality and diversity among the authors. At Fastaval we aim for a balance of debutantes, mid-practiced designers, and old farts.🧡

During June and August, we will be organizing one or two online synopsis workshops. If you, as a non-Danish speaking designer, wish to participate in one of these, please send us an e-mail. If you are a first-time designer or have only written a few scenarios, we would also like to help you with a synopsis sparring partner.😁

The Facebook group scenarielaboratoriet is a goldmine of people who love Fastaval scenarios and want to help with inputs, ideas and sparring. The group is mostly in Danish per default but people are more than willing to engage and communicate in English.

🧡THE SCENARIO COORDINATORS:
You can always email the scenario coordinators Nicolai and Mads Ann if you have any questions or feel stuck in the writing process. Send us an email at [email protected]

🧡OTTO AWARDS:
When designing a scenario for Fastaval, your game will automatically become part of the Otto awards. This means that your text will be judged by the Otto jury, who read all the scenarios thoroughly and offer feedback. If you have any questions or thoughts about the Otto’s at Fastaval, you can always contact the scenario coordinators, who can put you in touch with this year's head of the Otto-jury.

📨Er du interesseret i de kreative områder på Fastaval? Skriv dig på Aleas dommer- og ansvarligliste på Fastaval 📨

Hvert år sætter årets Overdommere deres hold af meddommere til årets juryer. Det er helt op til siddende overdommere at sætte deres hold, men de er altid åbne overfor forslag og input. Måske er det netop dig de mangler? 🌟
Som dommer er der meget at sætte sig ind, det er vigtigt at du kan argumentere for din sag, lytte til de andre og at du er villig til at bruge tid på opgaverne.
Send en mail med dit navn, og om du er interesseret i at være brætspilsdommer, scenariedommer eller sidde i æresottokomiteen. Du kan skrive dig selv op til flere juryer 💬

Ud over dommerne har Fastaval også områdeansvarlige for både brætspil og scenarier. Grupperne står for at udvælge de spil og scenarier, der kommer på Fastaval. Det er poster som kræver gode kommunikationsevner, omsorg, tålmodighed og viden om hvordan det kreative årshjul fungerer. Som brætspils- og scenarieansvarlig skal du være stabil, tilgængelig, opsøgende og fungere som en klippe, designerne og forfatterne kan støtte sig op af, når det hele driller, januar er grå og regnfuld, og deadlinen er lige om hjørnet.
Kunne du se dig selv som brætspils- eller scenarieansvarlig kan du også skrive til alea, så de nuværende ansvarlige kan få bredt deres vifte ud, og måske finde kandidater de ikke selv havde tænkt på.

Du kan ikke forvente at høre noget fra overdommerne eller de nuværende ansvarlige, men det kan være at de rækker ud for at høre mere eller for at invitere dig med. Alea opdaterer listen løbende, du behøver altså kun at sende en mail med dit navn en gang, og ellers skrive til os, hvis du gerne vil af listen igen. Vi fjerner ikke dit navn, selvom du allerede har været dommer eller ansvarlig, det gør vi kun når du selv skriver til os.

📨Are you interested in the creative areas of Fastaval? Sign up for Aleas judge- and organisor list at Fastaval 📨

Every year the head judges puts together their jury. It is completely up to the head judge to decide who gets a spot, but they are open to suggestions and input.
Maybe it’s you they are missing? 🌟
As a judge, there is a lot of work to get yourself familiar with. It is important that you can argue your opinions, listen to others points of view and that you are willing to invest the necessary time to do a good job.
Send an email with your name, and whether you are interested in being a board game judge, a scenario judge or be a part of the honorary award committee. You can write yourself up for more than one jury 💬

Beside the juries, Fastaval also have organisers responsible for board games and scenarios. Both groups are responsible for selecting the scenarios and board games which will be a part of Fastaval. It is organisers, that should have good communication skills, empathy, patience and knowledge about the creative process leading up to Fastaval. As a board game and scenario organiser you need to be reliable, reachable and be the rock the writers and designers can lean on, when everything sucks and the deadline is approaching.
Can you see yourself in one of these roles, write to alea, so the current organisers for board games and scenarios can get a wider selection, also from people they might not necessarily know.

You can’t expect to hear from head judges or the current organisors, but they might reach out to hear more or invite you to join. Alea will update the list as we get new names, so you only need to write us one time or when you want your name removed. Vi vil not remove your name even if you have already been a judge or creative organisor, we will only do that when you ask us to.

Hvem skal have æresottoen 2027?

Nu er der et år til Fastaval, men det betyder ikke, at vi er færdige med at fejre dem, der gjorde årets con helt særlig 💛
Du har helt sikkert set nogle seje arrangører, der fik tingene til at lykkes. Nogen, der tog et ekstra slæb. Nogen, der skabte magiske øjeblikke. Nogen, der bare altid var der.

Mens det stadig står frisk i hukommelsen, så hop ind og send din indstilling til næste års Æresotto 🏆

Kender du en person eller gruppe, som fortjener et kæmpe klap på skulderen? Så er det nu, du skal indstille dem! Indstillingerne er en helt essentiel del af juryens arbejde – de hjælper med at få øje på både de synlige og de mere usynlige helte, som gør en kæmpe forskel for Fastaval.

🌟 Tak for i år, Fastaval! 🌟

De sidste arrangører er nu kommet hjem tirsdag aften efter en lang og hård - men også effektiv - nedpilning. Og sikke en påske det har været! Fyldt med rollespil, brætspil, fællesskab og uforglemmelige øjeblikke.

Et kæmpe TAK til alle arrangører for jeres enorme indsats, energi og dedikation. I har knoklet før, under og efter. Det er kun på grund af jer, at Fastaval kan lade sig gøre 💪

Og et helt særligt shoutout til de 28 seje mennesker, som blev til det aller sidste og hjalp med at pakke vores alles Fastaval sammen. Jeres indsats gør en verden til forskel - tak! 🧡

Tak til alle deltagere for at bringe liv, latter og spilleglæde. I er med til at gøre Fastaval helt særligt.

Vi ser nu frem mod endnu et år med Mikkel Bistrup som general ved roret. Snart sender hovedarrangørgruppen også en evaluering ud, som vi håber, I vil tage jer tid til at udfylde. Jeres feedback er guld værd!

The last organizers made it home Tuesday evening after a long and tough - but very efficient - teardown. And what a whirlwind Easter it has been! Filled with roleplaying, board games, community, and unforgettable moments.

On Sunday at Fastaval, regulars took part in the annual run of ‘The Great Rolledyst’, a competition testing creativity under chaotic conditions 👀
