Ukrainian actress and performance artist Mariia Samoilenko presents Bridges of Voices, a multilingual solo performance at Teater Katapult in Aarhus.

Combining live singing, theatre and personal storytelling in English, Ukrainian and Danish, the performance explores what we carry with us across borders - our memories, roots, voices and connections to others.

Inspired by personal experiences of displacement, Bridges of Voices, is a story about resilience, belonging, hope and human connection. 💛

What to expect? An intimate performance followed by an informal discussion about its themes and creative process, offering space to exchange perspectives and experiences across cultures.

If you’re passionate about experiencing other cultures through food, or simply just want to meet awesome people, World Kitchen is perfect for you! 👩‍🍳🍽️

Forget about cold and rainy Denmark for a while and join this wholesome, international group where they meet to cook authentic meals from different countries.

We always get a “chef” from a new country who will set the menu and recipes (who could be you!). The chef (and potential souschefs) just needs to know the recipes and delegate tasks and guide other people so he/she gets all the help needed 🙂

You don’t need to know how to cook, you just need to have a good vibe and enjoy the tasty meals!

How does it work?
📆 Every other Thursday (next event will be on Oct 15)
👥 You sign up in a form (published on instagram ~5 days before) where you’ll get a cooking or a cleaning ticket
🥘 Cooking starts at 16h

Get to know your options for childcare, how to sign up your child, and what to expect as an international parent. 🌈🧸

Focus will be on childcare 0-6 years of age in the municipality of Aarhus. However, regardless of where you live you can expect to get valuable information, tailored to international parents, about childcare.

Pladsanvisningen, the Placement Service in the City of Aarhus, was invited to provide you with information on:
- how to sign up your child for daycare
- info on waiting lists
- prioritizing your options
- the guarantee of childcare etc.

We encourage you to take a look at the info on https://international.aarhus.dk/live/childcare-and-school/childcare-0-6-years-of-age before the event. It offers a good overview and can make it easier for you to ask the specific questions that matter most to you.

The webinar will be recorded and available seven days after the event for everyone who has registered. A link for the event is sent a few hours before the webinar begins to the email you’ve provided when signing up.
