🏰🍷 RESIDENZ WEINPROBE

On Thursday 30th November, your WIN offers you a very special kind of event: a professional wine tasting in the UNESCO Residenz's wine cellar! A Sommelier will present us with 6 chosen wines and will tell us all worth knowing about the wine-growing estate “Staatlicher Hofkeller Würzburg” and viniculture in Franconia. Bread and water are included.

🍷 The tickets are available for special discounted of 25€ (normally, the price is 50-60€). For this event, we can offer 60 tickets which you can buy right now at the StuV (Emil-Hilb-Weg 24, 97074 Würzburg). Beware their opening hours and make sure to mention that you want to take part at the English guided tour. Don’t miss this single chance to get to know the original Franconian viniculture and to explore the mystic “underground” of Würzburg!

*The meeting time is 19:15, please be on time.* If you are late, you will not be able to join or get a refund as it is a professionally guided tour, and we will not have any mobile connection once inside the cellar to communicate.

🚞 *ROTHENBURG DAY TRIP*

Dear International Students,

Get ready for a trip to Rothenburg ob der Tauber! We'll show you the highlights of the beautiful medieval old town, with its well-preserved medieval city wall.

Following the city tour, depending on the weather, we plan to visit a museum or have a walk through the park. Of course, you're welcome to explore the town on your own. In the evening, we'll gather at a medieval tavern.

The journey to Rothenburg is free for you with the Deutschland Ticket. If you don't have a Deutschland Ticket yet, we recommend purchasing one as it's the most affordable way to get to Rothenburg. Otherwise, you can buy a ticket at the train station.

Registration is through the student representation (Studierendenvertretung: https://maps.app.goo.gl/3aSd1dNaTPeGxHQb8 ). Please sign up on the list starting from Thursday, November 2, 2023. The registration fee for the day trip is 3 €.

Important Notes:

*Participation is only possible with prior registration through the student representation.* Cost: 3 €.
Remember to bring enough cash and wear weather-appropriate clothing.
If you can't make it, please notify us in advance so we can offer your spot to other Erasmus students.
