LAB UGANDA, a Music Connects project powered by Brass for Africa

Recording at another level takes place in our LAB UGANDA recording studio. Our German partner, RME Audio AG, donated a new Fireface 802 FS. This high-end equipment enables us to record up to 24 lines/channels and significantly upgrades our capacity. The original sounds of the South Sudanese and Ugandan artists will be preserved in much higher quality.

100.000 Euros from the german Postcode Lotterie have just come in and will support our LAB UGANDA Project in BidiBidi in 2025!
We are thankful that we can continue our work to improve the lives of refugees through music and education.

Today our teacher for sound technique Manuel and our former LAB audio technician Alex have been checking where we can find spare parts for our LAB UGANDA audio equipment in Kampala. They also visited Zac, an audio repair specialist who gave us valuable tips.
In BidiBidi, North Uganda, we provide refugees and host communities with a fully equipped truck comprising a stage and recording studio.
