In honor of Professor Nader Angha’s birthday, MTO students and volunteers around the world came together in service to their communities.

From one city to the next, each act was different, but the spirit behind them was shared. To care for one another, to give freely, and to turn what we learn into how we live.

A celebration of a life and teaching that continues to inspire people across the world, expressed in the simplest and most meaningful way, through service.

M.T.O. Sufi Association joined Stony Brook University’s Fall 2026 Involvement Fair to share the club’s mission, highlight the variety of wonderful events hosted on campus, and connect with the Stony Brook community. The event was a great success, with over 50 new students joining the club! At the table, students got a little glimpse of what we do at our events through art and creativity. Each student had the opportunity to decorate a small heart-shaped canvas with paint markers. As a warm welcome, each new member also received a succulent to take home and nurture on their journey. 🌱
