The registration date for the 2025 Nijmegen is fast approaching, (1 Feb) Jonathan Cusanek is planning to put a team together, he currently has roughly 9 spots available. Please respond to this post if you’re interested in being part of an amazing event.

Good morning, for anyone who was unable to join our event today or if you had a great time and want to do it again. TSgt Cusanek will host a make up march tomorrow morning (12 Oct,) check in at 0630 at the pax terminal. Bring your own water, snacks, Ruck, UOD OCP.

UPDATES ON FLYVER

Due to the canx of DV support this weekend, we will hold 2 events on Friday and Saturday to support original/contingency plans.

Friday
Check-in starts 0515-0530. Brief then step off around 0600. Led by TSgt Srisaringkarn.

Saturday
Check-in starts 0615-0630. Brief then step off around 0700. Led by TSgt Cusanek.

- You can choose which dates you want to attend.
- ⁠Only one water station will be available at the Pax Terminal checkpoint.

UPDATES *Danish Flyver*

- *DATE CHANGED TO 11 OCTOBER, 0600-1000* due to conflicting DV support that the base will be providing/road closures.
- ⁠Check-in/ruck weighing will be inside the Ramstein Passenger Terminal (google maps), starting at 0530L. Service credit union ATM will be inside the terminal for anybody that needs cash.
- ⁠For walk-ins, just tell the check-in station and they will get your rank full name unit location.
- ⁠Brief routes again. It’ll be a 10km route, 2 times around for a total of 20km. If you’ve done the Norwegian Foot March on Ramstein, it is that same route.
- ⁠Huge group picture before everyone steps off @ 0600L.
- ⁠Ruckers will pass their full name as the complete their laps. There will be individuals stationed in between the KMC lodging and pax terminal parking lot to account for people passing by.
- ⁠Igloos with water refills will be available at the starting/end location. Recommend you bring snacks to munch on throughout the course.
- ⁠DO NOT LITTER. Anyone caught littering will be identified and will not receive your medal/certicates at the end of the course.
- ⁠Upon completion, there will be an area to collect your medals and certificates.

The Ramstein AB Forging Warrior Heart Initiative is happy to announce we will be hosting a Danish Flyver March on 12 October 2024!

This is a great opportunity to participate in a Denmark Air Force event while staying close to home.

The route will be entirely on Ramstein Air Base. (Must have base access or pass to participate)

All payments must be made in cash* to one of the POC’s listed below before 1 October to ensure your medal and certificate will be available on the day of the event.

*GSU’s, a POC will work with you to make a virtual payment before the 1 October deadline.
