European Multicultural Club is a group of young active, optimistic and voluntary people who are all interested in different areas of life. One day we get together and decided to be active in the small city called Offenbach am Main. On international level we promote integration between different ethnic groups through informal Seminars. We also have participated in different seminars concerning equa
lity, media impact, innovation, fight against racism and HIV prevention. On this way we try to teach children and youth about the physical and psychological problems on world. Our group gathers every month to take up new ideas and think how to put them into practice. We sincerely believe that the young people today can make a difference and we all work for this purpose. Furthermore we believe that we can secure freedom in knowing each other. Youth work for development is working mainly in education field with different target groups such as; children, youth, student or worker. It is mostly focusing its activities to the Hessen region. The main aims of our organization are: - to support self-development of our members, to broaden their minds, - to bring up young leaders, - to let young people exchange their experience and knowledge, - to unite young people from different spheres and social backgrounds, - to fight against all forms of discrimination and promote the value of equality, - to teach tolerance, - to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, - to raise awareness about environment and encourage to protect it, - to be multipliers of programme “Youth” and introduce opportunities it provides with, - to initiate participation of young people in social activities at local levels - to help young people to develop critical thinking The main objectives of our organization are: - organization of training and events for youth on the regional and local levels - implementation of cultural and sports activities - implementation of information activities in media, educational institution and youth organizations - implementation other activities don’t prohibited by law and aimed for achieving the charter aims - support youth initiatives aimed at developing active citizenship, support the democracy - full implementation of the powers conferred by the laws on social organizations.
