Kingdom minded...Gideon’s story is found in Judges 6–8. During this period, the Israelites repeatedly turned away from God, leading to oppression by the Midianites, who destroyed crops and livestock, forcing the Israelites to hide in caves and thresh wheat in secret (Judges 6:1–6) . While Gideon was secretly threshing wheat, an angel of the Lord appeared, calling him a “mighty warrior” and commissioning him to save Israel from Midian (Judges 6:12–14)
Initially, Gideon doubted his ability, citing his weak clan and low status, but God reassured him of His presence and power (Judges 6:15–16) the empowerment of the Holy Spirit comes from God alone...and when He empowers you with His presence...you will rise up and engage in the mission God has prepared for you...
