💥MHAC Outreach – Community School in Bamenda NWR Cameroon.🌏
International Menstrual Hygiene Day🩸

The MHAC outreach was a huge success!
We (GAC Team and Partner organization HIGLOS) began the program at 10:00 am with over 150 teenage girls in attendance — not counting boys and those listening from the windows.

The session included:
- Educative talks from a hired medical doctor
- Insights from Madame Monica (CEO Partner orgfanization)
- A drama performance by the team
- A Q&A session coordinated by Leonarda (GAC Volunteer/ MHM Expert)

100 Menstrual hygiene kits were distributed to all Form 5–Form students present, and to others who actively participated during the sessions. Educative information (flyers) were also distributed.

We wrapped up with group pictures and a word of thanks from the principal.
The program ended at 1:20 pm.

Today, 28th May 2026, in commemoration of International Menstrual Hygiene Day, the GAC Team, together with our partner HIGLOS, visited a community school in the North-west Region of Cameroon.
A medical doctor was invited to educate over 250 teenage girls on menstrual hygiene and reproductive health. The school principal expressed sincere appreciation for the outreach and its positive impact on the students.
As part of the campaign, 100 Menstrual Hygiene Kits and educational flyers were distribut-ed to the girls.

Today, on the International Day of Menstrual Hygiene, we stand together to break the silence, end stigma, and pro-mote dignity for every girl and woman. 🌸

At GAC we believe that access to menstrual health education, hygiene products, and safe spaces should be a right, not a privilege.
We remain committed to empowering girls through education, awareness, practical skills, and community support.
