Islands of Time - exhibition and concerts feat. Pole, JakoJako & Rubén Nsue,
Sunroof, Nicolas Bougaïeff [6.8.]

silent green Berlin & Miller-Zillmer Foundation present: Islands of Time, an exhibition by on memory, geographic belonging and time, with an evening of four acts. Pole () has moved between minimal techno, ambient and dub since the 90s. Echo as memory, space as instrument. JakoJako explores the space between the technical and emotional on modular synthesizers, currently performing exclusively with dancer Rubén Nsue Mbese. Sunroof () is the improvisation project of Mute Records founder Daniel Miller and producer Gareth Jones: Eurorack modular synthesizers, nothing planned, nothing rehearsed. Nicolas Bougaïeff (Nicolas Bougaïeff) treats the club as a space for thinking: precise, asymmetric, architectural.

We had a fantastic time at Superbooth Berlin last week 🧡

A huge thank you to the whole Superbooth crew and a special thanks to Gammon and all participants of the who performed live on stage. Each group created their own unique composition within a few hours before taking to the stage - it’s an impressive feat to witness every time!

We already look forward to next year’s edition and will be sharing more footage from here soon. Stay tuned…

All set! The 10th anniversary edition of Berlin kicks off tomorrow and we will be there with our supported project, the , which is hosting daily workshops followed by a live performance at the world’s leading trade fair for synthesizers 🧡

You are welcome to join us for the first live performance in the auditorium this Thursday at 1:30pm, or this Friday and Saturday at the same time. We look forward to seeing you!

The Modular Synthesizer Ensemble is back at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg for another week of modular synth workshops 🎛️ Our supported project has more dates confirmed in Vienna on 15th and 16th April and we are already looking forward to touch base with Gammon at in May 🧡

We are very happy to confirm that our supported project, the Modular Synthesizer Ensemble, will appear at ! Superbooth is the world's largest synthesizer trade fair that takes place at FEZ-Berlin each year. During the Modular Synthesizer Ensemble workshop, participants learn about modular synthesizers, often for the very first time. Together they compose and perform their own piece of electronic music live in front of an audience, just like in the video above.

If you are also planning to visit this year, we warmly invite you to join one of the Modular Synthesizer Ensemble's unique workshop performances on May 7th, 8th and 9th. Full details to be released here soon.
