Dear friends & community members,

It is with a profound sense of closure that we share an update regarding our friend Manoj Mohanty.

After a long and difficult journey due to the formalities here, his remains have finally reached his hometown in Odisha. His family has been able to receive him, and they have now completed the final rituals to lay him to rest.
While this brings a sense of closure to a painful process, the grief of this loss remains deeply felt.

We want to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude to everyone who has stood by his family throughout this ordeal. Whether you contributed to the fundraising efforts, provided hands-on help with the complex formalities and logistics, or simply kept him and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers, please know that your support made a world of difference. Your kindness and generosity were a pillar of strength for his family during their darkest hours.

Thank you for honoring his memory and for showing what true community looks like when it matters most.

We would like to extend a special note of thanks to Honourable India in Germany (Consulate General of India, Frankfurt), Air India, distinguished community leaders in Frankfurt and fellow members of Odia Samaj Frankfurt, for their extraordinary efforts. Your personal commitment, time, and tireless support in managing the formalities and logistics were invaluable, and we are truly grateful for everything you did to bring Manoj home.

**In Loving Memory of Manoj Mohanty**

Dear friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden passing of our beloved friend and community member in Frankfurt, Mr. Manoj Mohanty, following an unfortunate accident on 27th June in Pinta beach Raunheim.

Manoj will be remembered by all of us for his profound kindness and gentle simplicity. He will be deeply missed. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, daughter, and his entire family during this difficult time.

Thank you for keeping Manoj’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace and God bless the family. 🙏

We are still buzzing from the success of our recent cultural event, Raja Mahotsav, organized by the members of Odia Samaj Frankfurt e.V.! It was a beautiful showcase of tradition, artistry, and community spirit. 🥂🎶

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our Guest of Honor from India in Germany (Consulate General of India, Frankfurt), honourable Consul and Head of Chancery Mr. Vibha Kant Sharma, for joining us and inaugurating this special event. Your presence truly honored our community and added significance to the occasion.
